Experience

I am currently laid off as a Certified Conductor with Norfolk Southern. I was responsible for the safe and proper

management of the trains. Duties include protection and care of the passengers and freight being transported, and

maintaining vigilant to all the rules and instructions for proper train operations. I also helped call signals and discuss their

aspect and indications with the Engineer. I helped conduct brake test and freight car inspections. At the end of

my tour of duty I prepared the necessary paperwork for the Central Yard Operations.

Previously employed as a Delivery Warehouse Manager with Choice Medical, Bluefield, WV. Responsible for

ordering and maintaining all inventory, monitored and recorded data to provide performance improvement, schedule

monthly vehicle maintenance and maintains vehicle records, performed routine safety checks throughout work

environment, supervised employees and conducted annual employee evaluations. Prepared confidential records accurately

and efficiently to meet all Federal, State and local laws. Generated repeat sales by maintaining good customer relations

through facilitating smooth communications between customers and physicians.

Previously employed as Assistant Manager for K.O. Convenience Center, Bluefield, W.V.

(Owned and operated by Mountain Motor Sales). Responsibilities included supervising employees, daily cash deposits,

handling purchase transactions, interfacing with customers. Maintaining store appearance, floor stock, ordering, and

introducing new products, corresponding with vendors to receive promotions and new items. Created a positive work

environment and peer relations by demonstrating exemplary work ethics. Recognized for

exceptional response for unscheduled absenteeism.

Achievements & Skills

Currently part-owner of East River Golf Driving Range & Putt Putt since April 2008.

Duties include: supervising employees, scheduling, advertising, payroll and maintenance of grounds and building.
