Responsibilities include installing interior, exterior, factory, and aftermarket accessories, as well as provide body repair. I also provide fabrication skills to return the body back to original or whatever may need to be done. I also provide excellent customer relations.
Hardcore Racing Inc High Performance Technician
Flint, MI 07/04 - 01/07
Responsibilities include providing technical assistance on our professional drag racing team. Driving the rig (06’ Freightliner Coronado) to and from races was another major responsibility. When we were not on the road the main focus was preparing both the 04’ GTO and 02’ Firebird for the next event. If I was not working with the race cars I was helping the shop manager move customer work out in a timely manner. If the customer side was slow I would go to the engine shop and try to pick something to learn or our engine builder would allow me assist in rebuilding the race motors. We also built a car for the show “PINKS” in which I was involved in stripping the car and rebuilding the car in less than eight days, then be able to test it before going out to Arizona to race. I operated a fork lift every day for parts or other items we needed for the race cars. I had operated and tuned on an engine dynamometer as well as a chassis dyno, I have over two years experience on both. I had operated a Bridgeport and lathe to assist in building our motor plates and mid plates, along with a numerous amount of other odds and ends for the racecar(s).
