May 01, 2012 to November 11, 2012

Manager responsible for dry goods and packaging material designated

for SKU's scheduled to be produced based on three to four week

projection in addition to handling and shipment of finished goods upon

completion of SKU run. Directly responsible for 10 warehouse

personnel on First and Second Shift, 1 purchasing agent, 1 salaried

supervisor and 1 hourly lead in addition to being responsible for 1

salaried mid-level shipping manager, 2 shipping and receiving

supervisors, 2 shipping and receiving line leaders and 18 shipping and

receiving personnel within a unionized USDA regulated standalone

poultry further processing facility.

I was transferred upon request of the Plant Manager and Complex

Manager to address issues regarding inventories, dry goods storage,

and to address personnel issues.

Highlights:

. Reduced storage of ingredients on yard trailers from twelve to

six within a six week period. This resulted in a cost savings

of $1,300 per trailer reduced.

. Successfully added salaried supervisor to fill vacated Second

Shift Line Leader position resulting in improved unloading of

incoming ingredients and staging ingredients for the next day's

production run.

Shift Production Manager; Pilgrim's Pride, JBS. Elberton, GA

November 01, 2011 to 2012

Manager responsible for over 230 unionized production personnel, 2

salaried mid-level superintendents, 5 salaried supervisors, 7 hourly

line leaders focused on meeting quality, productivity, and yield goals

within a USDA and HACCP regulated standalone poultry further

processing facility.

I was hired into this position to improve line start up, reduce

downtime, improve employee interaction in processes, and to improve

mid-level and line management during First Shift operations.

Highlights:

. Worked with Superintendents in focusing and addressing key

issues affecting performance within their departments which

resulted in an increase of productivity on par-fry breaded IF

wing line from 90% line efficiency to 103% line efficiency.

. Improved supervisors' focus and motivation in working with line

set up personnel in having lines ready to start at designated

times resulting in lines being ready 15 minutes prior to line

start time.

Plant Manager; Crestwood Farms, Townsends Inc. Mocksville, NC

August 03, 2011 to October 05, 2011

Assumed senior manager's roll at the Mocksville facility after the

plant manager left the company. Directly answered to the president of

Townsends and Omtron, LLC's senior representative dutied with

coordinating with engineering, safety, and accounting in closing the

Mocksville facility and all remaining accounts pending. Responsible

for 7 senior level department managers, 4 salaried departmental

supervisors, 8 senior line leaders, 8 line leaders, and over 300

hourly employees.

I assumed responsibility of position upon leaving of Plant Manager

under direction of the company's president.

Highlights:

. Was able to properly disposition all remaining perishable

inventory through vendor returns, discounted selling,

transferring to facilities still in operation or through

condemnation meeting Omtron's two week deadline.

. Coordinated with management and remaining support staff in

cleaning, staging equipment and preparing facility for potential

sale.

Training Manager; Crestwood Farms, Townsends Inc. Mocksville, NC

June 05, 2009 to August 03, 2011

Develop hands on and classroom training programs under direction of

the operations/plant manager dedicated towards improving overall

operational knowledge of complex equipment operational skill, decrease

equipment downtime and to improve department start-up efficiency.

Additionally trained newly hired supervisors, maintenance technicians

and promoted line leaders in facility's corporate culture.

I accepted a lateral transfer into this position under the

direction of the plant/operations manager to improve the overall

synergy and operation of the Mocksville facility.

Highlights:

. Developed hands on and class room training program for manual

hand portioning of tenders and fillets enabling the company to

reduce loss due to excessive trim caused by DSI and Marel

portioning equipment by 30%.

. Instituted internal training program for maintenance department

Senior level manager responsible for the overall shift operation of

the Mocksville further processing facility ensuring employee safety,

product quality, product yield, and operational efficiencies meet or

exceed facility and corporate targets. Directly managed 2 salaried

departmental supervisors, 4 senior line leaders, 4 support line

leaders and over 150 hourly operations support and line personnel

while being indirectly responsible for 1 salaried Quality Assurance

supervisor, 1 hourly Quality Assurance line leader, 13 Quality

Assurance technicians, 1 salaried Maintenance supervisor, 8

Maintenance technicians, 2 water treatment personnel, 2 sanitation

workers, 2 Shipping and Receiving workers, 1 supply room clerk, and 1

facility housekeeper.

I was hired by the VP of Operations/Plant Manager to assume role of

Second Shift Manager and to help in coordinating and training of

fully cooked operation startup.

Highlights:

. From 2003 to 2004 assumed all HR department responsibilities for

Second Shift due to lack of department head. Responsible for

all administrative and disciplinary actions as required by

position at the time. Successful in hiring employees who helped

pushed Second Shift productivity from 75% of production targets

to 100%.

. After Townsends purchased Crestwood Farms, proper training of

direct reports leads to their easy transition into salaried

department supervisor's role. This assisted in improving the

overall professionalism of Second Shift leadership and developed

strong independence of leaders.

Supervised 2 line leaders and 24 line and support personnel

responsible for batch fed continuous in-line process utilizing manual

hand packaging of all finished goods within a self-standing USDA

General Manager hired me into this position to balance supervisory

staff with experienced professional in support of trainee staff.

I was laterally transferred to this position under direction of the

plant manager due to opportunities resulting from startup of tray

packing operation and the need to ensure GMP's were followed.

when he was sick. The shift was able to perform with not drop

in production or quality.

. Developed SOP's and job descriptions under direction of

Superintendent for all jobs performed in facility resulting in

positive customer audits. This was adopted by management and

lead to being implemented for auditing purposes.

Department Technician; New Holland Plant, Milliken and Company,

January 01, 1991 to September 06, 1999

Maintained Ring Spinning equipment operation during to maintain shift

production efficiencies and quality while maintaining preventative

maintenance schedules within an ISO 9002 continuous improvement yarn

fabrication textiles facility. Additionally performed team leader

working a Gaines MacArthur rotation shift schedule. Participated in
