financially ailing Hospital. Developed a Corrective Action Plan for the

Hospital Bondholders. Assisted in the sale of the Hospital to a for-profit

system at a premium price resulting in the funding of a 501(c)(3) Community

Foundation. Responsible for the wind down after the sale of the

Hospital and conversion to a Foundation. As Executive Director of the

Foundation, responsibilities include: operations, investment strategy,

financial

and tax reporting, community relations and strategic planning. Organize

physician and medical personnel volunteers in providing free care to the

community with an emphasis on the uninsured children and elderly. Established

medical school scholarship program for physicians and nurses. Work closely

with

the Foundation Board to effectively leverage our resources through matching

grants and donations of supplies, equipment and drugs from area Hospitals and

Drug Companies.
