Experience:
1. Nanny: I have always had a love and understanding for children. I currently watch my three-year-old niece who is a handful. I also am a nanny for two little girls who have autism. I have always been around children and know how to handle them in all sorts of situations. Kids tend to love me because I know how to get down to their level and play with them but I also know how to be strict when it comes to rules set by their parents, I am not a push over. (Bend OR)
2. Coffee shop: During my senior year at Mountain View high school I worked at a little coffee shop at Mt. View. I know how to work a cash register and make change I know how to cash out after every shift. I also know how to work an espresso machine and I know how to make French press coffee. I always keep the shop clean I don't like working in a mess. I know how to keep everything neat and organized. (Mt. View High School, Bend OR)
3. Cashier: At the beginning of 2012 I worked at a store in Sisters OR where I was a cashier so I know how to work a register and make change I also know how to close the till at the end of every day. I was in charge with helping open and close the store. I am great with people and know how to work well with customers in all sorts of situations. I was always organized and professional. I was also trained on how to run the stoves and the little restaurant we had on the back side of the store.
4. Cleaner: I have done a lot of different types of cleaning in my life from my room to entire houses. I also have done some salon cleaning for family friends. Everywhere I go and every place I have worked it have always been very important to me to keep the stores and selves looking clean and presentable for customers. I am a very neat person so keeping things clean is not a problem for me. If I see something that needs cleaned up I will take it upon myself to clean it up.
Education:
Current: I recently graduated Mt View High School in bend Oregon. I also attend Marshal High School after school 4 days a week I order to earn enough credits to make sure I graduate. I am a dedicated student and a very dedicated learner; I have always been able to pick up tasks quickly. I have also always been very good at planning ahead to make sure I give myself enough time to get a task done on time and done right.
Future: I am looking into going to college at sometime in the future to better myself and my life. I love school not only for the friends and the social aspect of it, but I have always enjoyed learning new things and new ways of doing thing I already know. I am a very fast pasted person I always have been and am looking forward to getting into a career where I can learn and move forward.
Other skills:
I am and always have been a very big people person. I love talking to people and interacting with people. I have always been very big into first impressions. I think that a first impression is very important because what a person thinks about you the first time they meet you can determine how they think of you in any other encounters. Having many different skills in life I think is very important, for instance being able to multitask is one of the skills I think everyone should have I know I am a very good multitasked.
1. Computer skills: I know how to work my way through a computer I think very well. I have been trained how to use excel programming and how to make spread sheets and I always have been trained how to make just about any chart or graph
2. Money skills: while working at a store in sisters and also at my high schools first ever coffee shop I was trained on how to use a basic cash register. I know how to make changes and close the till at the end of every shift.
3. Cleaning skills: I am a very organized person I know how to keep a work space clean and neat. I love cleaning and making everything looks nice. Making sure a store looks presentable is very important to me. I know how to stock shelves and take inventory. Like first impressions with people first impression in a store are also very important.
4. Coffee skills: while working at my high schools first coffee shop I was trained on how to run an espresso machine and how to make a mixer of different kind of drinks. I was also taught how to interact with a customer ranging from students to teachers.
5. People skills: I would conceder myself a very big people person I love interacting with new people. I know how to hold a conversation with children and adults. I also know how important it is to make a good for impression when meeting someone for the first time. A first impression is everything especially when working with the public.
