Being a supply clerk made me realize how important it was to discover methods and short cuts which would cut down time. Time was always an enemy and even if I found ways to cut the time down by even 5 to 10 minutes, then it would make me feel more productive and I can move onto additional tasks. This is extremely important when my duties were to help receive in pallets and to put the products away neatly in our storeroom. Also I had to take down inventory of all the medical products around the 8 different storage and medication rooms and apply multi tasking skills in order to get everything done in a timely matter.

Food safety, proper cleaning, and sanitization was the most important aspect of working in the kitchen at a hospital. Whether it be washing the patients' meal trays and dishes, or cooking and prepping food for the cafeteria, everything must comply with the safety guidelines to ensure that food borne illness or cross contamination would not occur. Serving food in the cafeteria definitely posed as a challenge, especially when the lines were out the door and I had to work in a fast paced environment. Also operating the cash register and completing transactions were another task.

Working together with a two or three man crew to clean and disinfect commercial and residential property with the knowledge of mixing certain cleaning and sanitizing agents.
