1985-1989 USMC

Avionics/Electrical Technician AH-1/UH-1 Helicopters.

I demonstrated pride and professionalism, and sought out greater responsibility. I was able to elicit cooperation from all individuals to achieve the desired goals in a fast paced environment; always keeping safety and quality in the forefront of the squadron's operational goals. I was assigned as the Avionics Shop training Nco. I was charged with training the new Marines in our shop, and ensuring the aircraft were maintained in accordance with all maintenance standards and practices.

1989-2008 Delta Air Lines

I hired on as an Avionics Jr. Mechanic assigned to the narrow body overhaul department in Atlanta. I then was transfered to International Line Maintenance in Atlanta as a Avionics mechanic. While working in that facet I was able to obtain my FAA A&P license in 1992. In 1995 I was promoted to Aircraft Lead Mechanic, and was reassigned to the Domestic Line Maintenance operation in Atlanta. During my assignment I was charged with maintaining the maintenance operation, and as liaison between other departments and agencies while assigned to the ramp operational tower. I then was reassigned to International Line Maintenance Atlanta where in 1999 I was promoted to Duty Manager of the department. In the role of Duty Manager I was charged with the training, payroll, appraisals, disciplinary and administrative needs of 107 employees consisting of lead mechanics, mechanics, mechanic helpers, maintenance utilities, and supportive employees. My duties also entailed the assurance of the safe repair of over 100 aircraft assigned to the international fleet.

2008 April-August

I was charged with the custodial care, security, and well being of 275 state prisoners.

2008-2012 Auburn Police Division(Alabama)

I was certified as an Alabama Peace Officer with full arrest powers. I was assigned to the Patrol Division.
