Policies. In order to resolve claims phone calls must be made to all parties involved, recorded statements must
be taken, the insurance policy must be reviewed for coverage, estimates and photos must be reviewed for
accuracy; a liability decision must be made based on the information gathered; formal letters must be sent to
indicate decision and/or information needed; checks must be made to close the file.
