02/24/03 to present:
Union scaffold carpenter and turbine millwright at various facilities throughout the US.

07/20/01 to 02/24/03:
Self employed small remodeling contractor in Powder Springs, Ga. Did a lot of small ($500 - $5,000) residential jobs while preparing for another career.
02/01/96 to 07/20/01:
Various positions in the computer/telecommunications industry. Started in the IT department at Air-Tran, took a better position with Wang, moved again to a better position (systems administration) with PTEK/Voicecom, a major, multinational telecom company, in Atlanta, Ga.
The entire industry imploded following the bursting of the "dot-com" bubble. This left 600,000 people searching for new careers.
07/01/87 to 02/01/96:
Self employed licensed remodeling contractor in Chatt, TN.
Estimated jobs, presented bids, supervised my own work force and subcontractors for remodeling and renovations of residential and commercial jobs. Had three main lines of work; building out retail stores in shopping centers, weatherizing and re-habilitating low income homes for HUD and other government entities, commercial and instututional painting including the annual contract for all Erlanger Hospital facilities.
Folded the company to change careers to the computer industry.
