I resigned from Bright Water to work at Eagle Ridge Academy.

At SFHS, I taught in the self-contained severe/profound classroom. My case load consisted of approximately 8 students ranging from extremely medically fragile to multiple and severe cognitive disabilities. The majority of the students in my classroom were wheelchair bound and non-verbal. I managed the health needs of these students on a day to day basis, supervised 20 paraprofessionals, and worked closely with OT, speech, DAPE, and medical personnel. My employment in St. Francis ended when a levy did not pass and all non-tenured teachers were non-renewed.

My primary case load at VandenBerge consisted of students with autism or students with an SLD in math.
