Accomplishments
Managed a $1.3M USD project to Disaster Recovery enable 47 applications for a large U.S.-
based financial investment firm. The project involved replicating and recovering terabytes
of data for enterprise-wide applications as well as ensuring the recovery of data and
applications used by a dozen different business units.
Managed a complex, $4 billion pension conversion project involving three other
organizations including the conversion of financial history and the development of an
automated reconciliation system to ensure the quality of the conversion.
Supervised and mentored a wide range of successful student projects with industry
partners including: a steel inventory and forecasting system for Edwards Group, a
paperless document and case management system for Horizon School District s counseling
department, a driver assessment system for Weatherford International, an inventory
management system for Southland Trailers, a xeriscaping design database, a residential
room reservation and resident tracking system for Lethbridge College, and a lab exam
scheduler for, Lethbridge College.
Managed and coordinated the migration of Microsoft SQL 7.0, 2000, and 2003 production
databases to a Microsoft Clustered SQL environment for a large U.S. financial investment
firm. This migration involved over 220 databases used by 50 applications and containing
over 1 terabytes of data.

into High Availability clusters.

the costs, benefits and implications of various Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery

converting their systems concurrently.
