QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office. CNC skills include extensive experience with two
and three axis Proto Trak mills. I also have experience with Haas three axis machining
centers. Familiar with Mastercam X.5 and Autocad 2012. I have substantial experience in
all tool room machinery.
I have over 20 years of experience in the trade and am able to lead when necessary and
take the initiative when called to do so. I have extensive experience with injection
molds, progressive dies, roll form dies and gauges. I routinely hold tolerances of plus or
minus .001
Have experience with Accu-rite, EZ trak, Proto Trak and Anilam controls. My welding
skills include tig, mig, stick and Oxy-Acetylene. Experience heat treating steel. 10 years
of in-press troubleshooting, both injection molds and progressive dies.
Five years of supervisor experience and an additional ten years experience training
apprentices. Highly motivated and able to adjust to changing conditions. Have been
responsible for high value projects. Familiar with Kaizen and 5-S systems.
My communication skills are clearly demonstrated by my success as a math tutor, a
classical guitar instructor and a journeyman responsible for the training of apprentices.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES
I have experience with the following tool room machinery, Bridgeport mill, Boring mill,
Cincinnati mill, Lathe, EDM, Jig grinder, surface grinder, od/id grinder, tool and cutter
grinder, Blanchard grinder, radial arm drill press, jig bore, pantograph, duplicators,
machining centers. Presses up to 2,200 ton. Hoists up to 25 ton. Autocad 2012. Mastercam
X.5.
Mechanically Inclined
Able to fuse abstract thinking with real world problems to find solutions.
With the above skill I have constructed a four cavity mold with only a part and a
shrink factor.
As a further example of my tenacity I assembled a 5 speed transmission that came to me
in three boxes of parts. Yes, it is still functioning.
Have built numberous V8 engines that include 302 Ford, 350 Chevy, 300 Six, 350/403
Olds, 425 Cadillac and 400 Pontiac.
