Achievements
In accordance with my mandate to improve the company s profitability the following list
the highlights of the work accomplished over a 16 month period:
Implementation of the first year initiatives of the 3 year strategic plan :
Implementation of SAP all-in-one ERP software within time frame and budget objectives.
The project team included 6 full time Techcraft staff and an outside team of 5
professional IT consultants. The project lasted 8 months, including training for all
employees on new business processes and tools.
Created and staffed a Global Sourcing function and completed a joint venture agreement
with an Asian partner to secure sourcing from that part of the world. Annual savings of
4,0M.
Completed an operations review which led to a recommendation to save more than 3,0M per
year- the plan is being finalized and will be implemented in 2007.
Acquired certain assets of a competitor (Gusdorf). Integrated key personnel and related
business operations within Techcraft s infrastructure . Sales increased by $10M as a
result of the acquisition and also enabled the company to enter a new category( home
office) and achieve the key strategic goal of diversification.
Corporate restructuring leading to the closing of a furniture production facility in
Ontario and subsequent consolidation of furniture production in the Montreal facility.
1,0M annual savings. Creation of a new Furniture Sales Division and hiring of a senior
Sales VP.
Implementation of a new compensation system with structured salary categories, management

spend agreements.

intelligence tool (BI) in the areas of Finance( FICO) and business reporting (BW) of the
SAP enterprise software package. Coordinated all activities of the project and supervised
a team of 24 employees and consultants.
Achievements
Implemented a sales statistics module,a market share tool as well as a suite of
financial reports. Led team that created and built software solution from concept to go-
live. Led change management activities including communication and training for 300
employees. Budget of $3.5 million was respected and solution was delivered on time to the
satisfaction of the business users.

mortgage financing as well as the construction of a 30,000 sq ft food plant. The project,
costing 2 M$, was delivered in the fall of 1992 in accordance to the authorized budget.
Responsible for the startup of the plant including hiring 20 staff and selecting and
