Career Summary:

Systems Engineering: Writing is my specialty. In the area of writing for both military and commercial documents, have over 15 years of experience. This includes: S/SDD (System/Subsystem Design Description), Specifications, Requirement documents, PIDS (Prime Item Development Specification), ICD (Interface Control Document), for Software development, IDD (Interface Design Description). Test Procedures and more. Nine years of user experience with the "DOORS" program.

Military Design Engineering: Extensive experience with EMI and RFI testing and modifications to meet EMI standards MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-464, along with other customer (U.S. Navy) requirements. This involves circuit board level assemblies up to complete system level. Redesign and modifications of both analog and digital circuit designs. Configuration and layout of wiring harness to meet specified requirements. Have extensive experience with product support issues, such as: Trouble Simulation, Testing, Redesign and Modifications. Handled evaluations, testing and approval of new parts and/or vendor(s)

Automotive Electrical and Instrumentation Testing and Design: Several years of automotive engineering experience with GM and Freightliner Corp. Design projects included:

Work involves close communication with all three engineering departments. I have mostly used my extensive knowledge of the DOORS program for requirements, and other document writing but I also have extensive equipment test experience, both electrical and mechanical, A large portion of my testing experience is in the area of EMI and RFI testing on both the component and system level..
