EMPLOYMENT

2006-2009 Safety Kleen Systems Inc. "Sales & Service Representative" providing environmental

products, services, and consulting to industrial and automotive accounts. Cultivated and

serviced existing accounts. Maintained adherence and compliance through extensive training

with OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations. ISO 14001 Certified in Hazardous waste analysis,

collection, removal, transportation, and disposal including manifesting and proper

Federal/State legal documentation. Licensed CDL driver with tanker, HAZMAT, and air brakes

endorsements. Accomplishments at Safety Kleen include increasing customer account base

and revenue whereby the local branch could retain this "line of business".

1985-2005 K mart Corporation. "Store Manager" ultimately responsible for the ongoing

profitability, operations, merchandising, budgeting, training, scheduling, and supervision of

up to 6 salaried Assistant Managers and 150 hourly employees. From Tacoma, Washington

progressed to Store Manager operating 11 various locations in four different states:

Washington, Nevada, Texas, and Colorado. As Store Manager in North Pueblo served as a

"Developmental Training Manager" for management trainees as well as developing and

assisting current Store Managers in their careers. Also, in addition to operating the primary

store location was involved in setting up new store locations as well as assisting in closing

unprofitable stores and responsible for maintaining those physical plants until new occupants

could be found. Accomplishments at K mart Corp. include successfully increasing store

volume in the first three years of being assigned 30%. Also was assigned in succession training

to become a District Manager.
