after nationwide search based on strong PM/Management skills, national involvement in non-
profit Boards, strategic approach, leadership and communication skills. Our service area
covers 500 square miles, 8 counties, and nearly 2 million people. In this key role I have
developed the organizational Strategic Plan, established the 2011 budget ($155K), develop
RFP s and negotiate contracts. I manage our data-center, oversee IT development, and am

role I managed a team of 21 local and offshore resources (2008 budget: $2.1 million) to
launch the Testing/QA work stream and then turn it over to internal resources for
implementation. Responsible for overall project structure, initial resource
forecasting/planning, status reporting, coordination with other projects and work streams,
integration with enterprise-wide automated testing initiatives.

software), and planning the global deployment of 65K Windows XP workstations. I

Sr. IT Program/Project Manager11/20009/2004 As a Sr. Project Manager I was
responsible for delivering Dell s largest, most complex global, cross-functional internal
IT projects. My record for quality and on-time delivery was unblemished. Some highlights:
I managed first phase of a four-year $35 million mission-critical Global Strategic
project to re-engineer and migrate all of Dell s invoicing functions from a Tandem COBOL
environment to a server-based WinX/Oracle platform. My project team consisted of 18
dedicated resources, as well as 20+ matrixed shared service resources.
I led a cross-functional team of HR, Finance and IT to define and implement consistent
global standards, definitions and reporting for Dell HR. Established and piloted a new
Data Warehouse engagement model.
Participated with other Sr. PM s and IT management on CMM Project Planning KPA Process
Action Team to define and roll-out enterprise-wide tools/processes to achieve CMM Level 2
certification.
I was chosen to design and lead the first phase of a paradigm-shifting ITIL Service
Management strategy for all of Dell IT.
I played a senior PM role in Dell s shared-service Infrastructure organization. Efforts

automated pharmacy warehouses operations in Ft. Worth, TX and Birmingham, AL and Scranton,
PA. Highlights:
I was the SME for the Materials Management software that supported our remote mail order
Pharmacy locations. I worked with pharmacy senior management to define, prioritize, and
develop requirements.
I developed and managed physical inventory and cycle-counting processes for inventory
valued at $20 million per warehouse. My improvements increased overall accuracy from 55%
to over 90% in 1 year.
I worked with AARP to define requirements for a collaborative pilot program to analyze
and provide generic options for specific medications. I developed a prototype application
(MS-Access/VB/SQL Server) that that processed 2 million scripts per month and was featured
in the PCS company newspaper.
System support for Health Care eligibility and pricing systems using Tandem (COBOL,
