Developed business scenarios, test plans to cover release based functionality with focus

on effective utilization of resources and quality standards that include increased

productivity, process reusability, reliability, and maintainability therefore closely

reviewed functional requirements, performed analysis of the application architecture and

developed a detailed strategy for end-to-end testing for large scale complex Convergys

Smart Suite solution integrated with several internal (Dynamic decision layer, Convergys

activation management, order management, inventory management, shop & quote, workflow,

rating and billing, collection) and 3rd party external components (Web self care, Point of

sale, Brightpoint) to thoroughly test all integrations points in unified Linux

environments.

As a dedicated testing consultant, reviewed all features and ensured all inter-related

code tested within the feature work, led feature testing teams consist of 11 onsite and

off-shore permanent employees & contractors to evaluate, develop, execute and maintain an

efficient and effective feature functionality and regression test suite considering

increased productivity and ROI.

Developed detailed level testing estimates and ensured feature testing effort remained

within estimated/baseline figures therefore worked side by side with the teams and

executed test cases, investigated error logs, recorded results, reported defects and

acquired issue resolution to produce high quality product.

Investigated issues in large, complex functionality Convergys Smart Suite solution by

logging into Linux system via PUTTY or Exceed to review server info logs, and error logs

in UAT environment with a team of testers providing issue resolution support to Convergys

clients. Verified Dynamo logs SOAP-XML based Web Services calls with request and response

and XML with XML-SPY for to get phone ESN, IMEI value and credit debit card transactions,

verified customer/account, contact details and shipping/billing address transactions, etc.

Used WMS & JIRA to submit defects and track the process to closure.

For database validation testing and configuration data setup, used SQL skills to do,

positive & negative test on data therefore wrote complex database statements, created

dummy tables, loaded test data to verify that the software satisfies business requirements

& expected validations.

Developed script using Perl skills to produce mock-up usage files to simulate call

records feeding into rating engine.

Established standards for solution testing including entry and exit criteria, proof of

testing document that resulted in a 97.8% pass ratio for all deliverables ready for

deployment into SIT/UAT environments. Prioritized team responsibilities and assignments

during period of time and resource constraints without jeopardizing quality and project

Provided technical leadership in response to client requests and in the resolution of the

the QA team. Introduced process to reduce TR retest turnaround time by establishing a

and Production Support groups. Guided the business analysis of the improvement and acted

as a champion, and gathered management support. Determined reliability, maintainability,

and availability objectives for major solution components.

Recommended and led effort to successfully migrate RBM test cases from T-Plan to HPQC to

establish a industry standards quality framework by working closely with decision

managers, business managers, DBA and testers. In addition, introduced modular test case

development technique by drafting procedures and exemplified use of link to these commonly
