INTAG 497 contains a 2-week embedded international experience, conducted in Paris,

France, in

collaboration with colleagues at AgroParisTech and INRA.

Graduate seminar courses in Resistance Genetics, Transgenic Crops, and Invasive Species

were

each taught once, the latter two as part of a faculty team.

Many sections of independent studies in Entomology, International Agriculture, Genetics.

Numerous guest lectures in a variety of courses have been offered.

Resident Education Course Development

Key member of team that developed ENT 202GN, a general education course for non-science

majors; major feature of course is use of insects to convey scientific principles;

interactive

assignments. This course is now taught FA and SP semesters to 150 students per offering

Key member of team that developed ENT 313, 314, 315, 316, 319, 397F, 397I core and track

focus courses designed for horticulture/landscape contracting, elementary education, crop

science, agroecosystem science, forest science, and students interested in apiculture

(turf is

now offered separately)

Developed ENT 412 as a core course in Entomology graduate programs; developed field-based
