HPM, Mt. Gilead, Ohio
Worked directly with the VP of Manufacturing to find ways to streamline
production by assessing/addressing design problems between the
Engineering Design Department (Electrical and Mechanical)
and Manufacturing - developed and motivated communications
between both departments. Created and implemented design change sheet
as a company standard to track all drawing changes and product
design for quality control and pinpointing problem areas. This procedure,
in turn, saved vast amounts of money on materials, man hours,
and product design making HPM more cost efficient. Familiar
with 180 to 5000 ton injection molding presses, die cast injection
molding presses, extrusion presses (sheet lines) which use
various polymers, zinc and aluminum.
