Could you describe how it *did* work, then? Perhaps the problem is
unrelated to your plan here. It should work the way you've shown.
Perhaps some actual code snippets and the response you got would help?
Try 'perldoc -f require' and 'perldoc -f use'. I also hope you
don't play with the @INC or %INC variables, as they could mess
things up.
A 'perl -V' will tell you what your current @INC is.
