documentation set production.

o Delivered product documentation on time for multiple

FileStore patch releases.

o Designed and implemented monthly metrics reports, trend

charts, and graphs that captured statistics about customer

use of Symantec documentation deliverables. This provided

useful real world feedback and insight into customers'

needs and wants.

o Reviewed and edited Installation Guides for Symantec

Veritas Storage Foundation High Availability Solutions

products as part of a quality improvement project intended

to reduce high volume customer support calls.

o Led the release management team after layoffs and a

management consolidation. Implemented key changes to

o Expanded the test lab's use of VMware environments,

test environments were fulfilled using a virtual

o Led an effort to reduce translation costs for the

documentation set, by applying strategies such as content

tiering and selective translation of paragraphs based on

the needs of different audiences. This effort resulted in

translation cost savings of $350,000 for the Reporting

and Analysis products.

o Salvaged a documentation project that was mired in

disagreement among stakeholders. Mediated the disagreements

and performed at-risk content development tasks, resulting

in a successful product delivery. The delivered guide was

well received by customers and internal stakeholders.
