Assistant Manager
Managed to find less costly inventory, which allowed us *Premier Body Performance to both reduce the cost of our product and increase profit. Within months another location was opened *Cottonwood Mall.
Sales Associate (Seasonal Key)
With over two years of working *HotTopic I have managed to reduce "clutter" in the shipment room; organization and cleanliness are very important to keep a functioning store. I also have managed to have the highest percentage of online orders, which is needed to meet store expectations.
Work Experience
June 2010 to Current
HotTopic Albuquerque, New Mexico
Sales Associate (Seasonal Key)
Developed my communication skills through thousands of retail hours. Created professional friendships with my Co-workers so that communication among the team is healthy. Created a private online website to share messages and alerts with the team members. In-order to decrease lost product I printed out cards that attached to our lanyards, which contained information that would help us spot shoplifters and our departments with the highest percentage of lost product I also conducted weekly walk-throughs with the Manager to discuss all interior visual displays including store window presentation.
February 2011 to January 2012
Premier Body Performance Albuquerque, New Mexico
Assistant Manager
As Assistant Manager I had the responsibilities of hiring and managing who I hired, which including hours, physical performance, and communication growth and ability. Teaming up with the Manager I would either open or close and sometimes drove to the Cottonwood location if necessary. Aside from good communication with our customers I found the importance of numbers. These numbers where sales and inventory, which had positive results directly because of a functioning team.
