1993-1995 Platoon Commander 1 & 2JR. (30 Soldiers) Physically patrolling the streets of the inner-city garrisons, assisting the police to lower gang violence, drug interdiction, weapons trade and extortion.
1995-1999 Intelligence Officer 2JR Renowned by senior officers for superior ability to collate, interpret, predict and disseminate information in the form of weekly briefings which were used to steer the operational units. Analyzed data from various agencies and human sources. Produced and presented monthly intelligence summaries for the Battalion Commander to make sound critical decisions. Studied and characterized the diverse geographic terrain using contour maps, overlays, aerial photographs and reconnaissance to assist the constabulary force in various antinarcotics operations. Responsible for the processing, storage, and safekeeping of classified documents.
1999-2003 Coy Comdr 2JR Responsible for the training and development of 96 soldiers working in sensitive and volatile operational areas.
