PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Responsible for global project management functions of over 50 plus client
engagements/projects ranging in size from multi-million dollar to $10k engagements for
companies such as Rockwell Automation, Cleveland Public Power, Indiana Municipal Power
Association and AMP-Ohio:
Primarily responsible for client reporting and on-going development of the client
relationship.
Responsible for development of project scopes/plans and cost estimates for projects
encompassing multi-year, multi-systems execution and those limited, single-system short-
term scope.
Responsible for assigning appropriate resources for global and sub-system level project
execution
Responsible for maintaining project plan, project schedule and budget to original scope
and budget.
Managed client expectations and scope control from both project delivery/budget and
client perspective.
Managed total project execution including: task execution within project plan, time and
cost budget estimates to project plan and scope, and final project deliverables.
Developed project management collateral in the form of templates, models, systems and
forms designed to manage overall project plan/scope, schedule and budget as well as the
individual components of the project plan for each sub-systems of the plan or for each
project resource.
FINANCIAL ANALYSIS
Generated millions of dollars in current and future operating cost reductions resulting
in significant profit enhancement for client companies such as Buzzi Unicem, Nice-Pak
Products and Brylane Catalogues based on:
Development, review, audit and analysis of corporate financial documents, accounting
records, accounting adjustments and operating budgets for their accuracy and
appropriateness
Developed long/short term analytical models to project financial conditions under
alternative growth and plant investment strategies.
Developed long/short term analytical models to project the impact of price changes on
financial operations, competitive sales position and eventual financial results from such
price change.
Analyzed cost of investment capital and performed projections of imbedded cost of capital
and its impact on future financial operations under varying growth and investment
strategies.
Developed allocation/cost assignment models in conjunction with their associated general
ledger data bases used as the basis of restructuring corporate financial and production
cost reporting statements from a production complex oriented strategy to a production
source oriented methodology. Such revised reporting was used as the basis of evaluating
continuation or discontinuing production at certain facilities based on the resulting
profit/loss relationship.
PRODUCTION COST AND PRICING ANALYSIS
Generated millions of dollars in current and future production cost reductions resulting
in significant profit enhancement for client companies such as Duke Energy, Southern
Company, Buzzi Unicem and Nice-Pak Products based on:
Performed component level cost of production studies detailing stratified production
costs for materials, labor and overhead functions for eventual finished goods products.
Performed detailed cost of production studies classifying production cost at source of
incidence and allocating costs to appropriate customer or finished good product groupings
for purposes of cost allocation, production cost forecasts and annual operating budgeting.
Developed and maintain production cost databases at the component level encompassing bill-
of-material definitions, work center definitions, production routings, shop work orders,
cost set roll-ups, etc.
Utilizing the results of production cost studies, performed pricing studies to determine
appropriate final product price, reflecting target margins plus cost of production by type
of customer or by finished good type.
Performed long and short range cost projections and associated pricing and financial
forecasts to reflect alternative growth and plant investment strategies.
OPERATIONAL ACCOUNTING
Performed month end closing procedures, reporting, diariesed journal entries and posting
to the general ledger system.
Developed, audited, maintained and modified corporate weekly operating summary reports
organized by division, summarizing and analyzing weekly financial and operating results.
Performed daily expense account and invoice payment approvals and system entries.
BUSINESS OWNERSHIP AND MANAGMENT
Responsible for client/customer development, operations and management of multi-million
dollar nationally based consulting regulatory/engineering consulting practice and former
owner and CEO of a GNC multi-store retail business:

Performed detailed studies of historic inventory levels to estimate optimum inventory
levels for production cost minimization and finished goods pricing. Conjunctively
developed analytical production cost models to estimate the financial impact of future
inventory levels on finished good production costs, pricing and profitability.
SALES/DEMAND AND PURCHASE/SUPPLY FORECASTING
Performed detailed long and short-range sales/demand and/or purchase/supply forecasts
based on econometric, end-use and time series modeling techniques reflecting varying
pricing, growth and production strategies or scenarios.
Performed detailed historic and projective analysis of economic indices used as
independent variables related to sales/demand and/or purchase/supply forecasts.
OTHER CONSULTING PROJECTS
Designed detailed stratified customer satisfaction surveys, analyzed and summarized
results of the studies and made customer service recommendations based on study results.
Presented analytical testimony in over 20 regulatory or judicial proceedings as an expert
witness related to financial performance and forecasting, accounting and accounting
adjustments, sales and production forecasts, product pricing and optimization/minimization
of production cost.
FEASIBILITY ANALYSIS
Performed detailed long-range economic and financial feasibility studies of the financial
impact and viability of new production construction/addition or the purchase of existing

of entering into certain long-term supply contracts and the impact of such contract
