My primary duties were to collaborate with news reporters in efforts to obtain news stories for the five,nine and ten newscast.I would also interact with local,state, and national officials and the regular public to try and gather information.

The primary work I did was to record and capture video for news stories for prime time airing. I would intract with news reporters to procure video footage relevant to their story. I would also interact with the regualar or local officials to gather information on the story we are working on. This often involved having to deal with individuals in high levels of distress while I still maintained a calm and professional demeanor as I recorded and captured every interview or any other footage. At times I worked alone, so it was important that I was able to listen to the reporter's and producer's request and in turn record appropriate video. After all the information we needed was obtained, I would utilize video editing software in the studio to bring together the audio and video to effectively relay the reporter's story. This required that I used extensive listening skills when interacting with the reporters to make sure I was able to capture his vision. At the end I would review the finish product before airing.

My main duities involved transporting patients from either the nursing home or residence to various destinations, mostly to a physician's office.

My primary work was to transport patients to nursing home or residence to physician's office. Usually it was my responsibility to contact the doctor's office to confirm or verify appoinments before transport. This included securing patient in a stretcher and taking their vital signs. In every transport it was important that specific policies and procedures were followed as outline by the laws of the State of Texas. In every case all information I was handling was confidential and bound by HIPAA. Also it would include having to document this information and put together a report detailing in accuracy their vital signs and any procedure done on the patient. This involved entering information from the report into the computer.
