Cover Letter:

?Dear Hiring Manager:

I am a certified project management professional (PMP) with experience in Biotechnology, Healthcare and Manufacturing Operations. Previously, I was a Project Manager at Molecular Staging, Inc., a leading clinical proteomics diagnostics company that developed advanced tests for cancer and neurological diseases. My responsibility was to plan, execute and complete complex biotechnology projects, to meet scheduled milestones and corporate commitments. Prior to that, I worked as a manager at InforMax, Inc., a molecular biology bioinformatics software development company. Our lead software product, VNTI suite, was a great success and used by more than 30,000 scientists and clinical investigators worldwide.

I am an experienced project manager, who directs efforts of multidisciplinary teams towards strategic alignment and successful completion of projects under matrix management. Unlike others, and because of my training and work experience, I can successfully blend advanced technical knowledge and science expertise with good management practices which others see as a valuable asset in timely decision making, problem identification and conflict resolution.

I have over 8 years experience in preclinical and clinical drug development working for clinical departments at major Clinical University Centers. These include Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY; Mass General Hospital in Boston, MA; Stanford University Medical Center in Stanford, CA and Bellevue Hospital, NYU, in NY. I participated in clinical trials, worked with lead investigators (MDs) as well as carried out statistical analysis of clinical trials. Two drugs that I worked with successfully made it through NDA submissions into advanced phases of clinical trials. These were methylprednisone for treatment of spinal cord injury and Dextromethorphan for the treatment of multiple sclerosis and stroke. I have direct experience in interaction with clinical investigators, industry sponsors as well as Institutional Review Board in submissions of protocol amendments and deviations.

Enclosed, please find my resume. I am a US citizen fluent in several languages. I thank you in advance for your consideration and I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Nariman
