Summary of Qualifications

Informix 4GL / ESQL C Development

? Major Projects Completed:

1. Coupon Maintenance and Tracking Program ? allows tracking of coupon promotions and stores coupon values and their related promotion information. Coupons may be tracked down to the submitter level and values are calculated and included in P&L reports. Allows for maintenance of individual promotions and submitter information.

2. Passed Orders Verification ? Enables the logistics department to verify that all orders scheduled for shipment that day are addressed. If orders are not shipped a reason must be given and a new ship date must be entered. A report is printed daily to allow the customer service manager to monitor the actions of the logistics department.

3. Customer Service Tracking Report ? Tracks customer service performance levels based on originally scheduled ship dates vs. actual shipped date, original customer requested arrival date vs. actual arrival date, requested order quantity vs. quantity shipped, etc. Report may be run for a specific date period and optionally refined by selecting a specific UPC, product group code, customer number, or warehouse location.

4. Low Inventory / Excess Stock ? Analyze warehouse inventories by comparing sales of products during the selected period in the previous year as well as in the selected length of time prior to the queried period. If the report is run for low stock it warns the user if product stock levels may not meet projected demand. If the report is run for excess stock the user is warned of overstocked product. The report may be run for both low and excess stock to give and overall assessment of a warehouses condition. Users query on a beginning and ending date as well as the length of time used to determine the previous sales values. The query criteria may be refined through selecting a specific warehouse, a certain product group, or a specific UPC.

5. Fax Log Maintenance ? Gives users an interface for the VSI Fax server. Allows for current queue analysis, checking of fax modem states, and retrieving of the status of expired / sent faxes. Prints a nightly fax log report for maintaining records.

6. Promotion Maintenance ? Promotion tracking program that analyzes promotions offered by salesmen to customers. Analyzes promotions based on current advertising accrual dollars, projected sales, and total promotion cost. Contains extensive embedded business rules for analyzing and determining profitability. Allows for item movement analysis for on and off promotion.

PowerBuilder Development

? Major Projects Completed:

1. Inventory Management Interface System ? Developed a barcode based inventory management system for our warehouse / food packaging facility. The data collections units used are Percon Falcons which store collected data locally. Throughout the day data is downloaded into the application through serial base docking stations. Data is then analyzed; checking for duplicate records, out of sequence pallet id?s on receiving orders, etc. The user is warned of any errors and allowed to correct them through an order maintenance screen. The program allows for new order entries from the keyboard as well. Labels, which contain the relevant pallet information both visually and in barcode format, can be printed on a Zebra label printer. Labels can be created from scratch, created for a specific lot, or created for a specific order. Each evening the data is synchronized with the company database through the Internet.

2. Conversion of In-House Database Applications ? Lead the development team working on the conversion of existing database applications from 4GL text based UI to PowerBuilder GUI.

C++ Development

? Major Projects Completed:

1. Squid Proxy Cache Log Analysis ? Parses and analyzes Squid log files. Tracks overall most frequently visited sites as well as overall user analysis (percentage of requests, usage time percentages). Tracks browsing habits of individual users allowing for the display of all sites visited, amount of times visited, as well as dates visited. An overall analysis report is generated once a week and mailed to administrators.

2. User Management for Qmail ? Front end designed to make administration of the Qmail email server easier and more intuitive. Functions include adding and removing users, maintenance of aliases, and administration of allowed hosts. Reporting features include listing of all current users, listing of current aliases and their members, and an overall server status report.
