Summary
I offer a unique blend of technical, marketing and creative skills gained from over 25
years experience in Information Technology including hardware integration, software
development, multimedia, Internet applications and digital imaging. My diversity and
experience can be leveraged across a variety of applications and roles including
marketing, consulting, project management and hands-on implementation of several

Lee Hinshaw Photography provides clients with turnkey professional photography services
including on-site and studio photography, digital image processing and distribution. I
further design, build and host websites using the WordPress content management platform
and work with my clients to make their site and digital media fully extensible to social

Program Manager
As a top tier resource partner with Oracle Corporation, DTI provides professional
services in the areas of content management, application integration, digital imaging and
workflow solutions for accounting, human resources and other critical business processes.
Principal duties included project management of client engagements incorporating
customized implementations of Oracle/Stellent Imaging and Workflow software (I/BPM),
integration with Oracle eBusiness Suites and scanning solutions from Kofax. Specific
duties included initial discovery/assessment with clients, application design, security
architecture, costing of proposed solution and coordination of project activities between
client and DTI s engineering and software development staff. Clients of note include Igloo
Corporation, Equifax, International Hotel Group and The Arthritis Foundation.
* Managed the transport, scanning, security architecture and indexing of over 500,000
human resources documents into a customized Oracle I/BPM database application at the DTI
scanning facility for Bovis Lend Lease in Charlotte, NC under budget and schedule in less
than two months.
* Managed the national deployment of over $450,000 in Kofax software and Canon scanner
upgrades for R. H. Donnelley Company including key site on-site installations, remote
installations and training all within budget.
* Certified completion of the Stellent Image Management course from Oracle University.
* Accredited Payable Solutions Consultant (APSC) certification.

Business Development
VerticalCurve provides best practices consulting and application development in the area
of content management. Principal duties included direct marketing of consulting services
and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) hosted solutions for digital media content management.
Other responsibilities included:
* Development and execution of a marketing plan for VerticalCurve s hosted solution for
digital asset management (DAM) called SinglePoint Access.
* On-site presentations and training on DAM software including asset acquisition, meta
data tagging and import, object collections, keyword searches, format conversions,
indexing, permissions based administration and other functions.
* Development of marketing and collateral materials including web site copy, presentation
materials and needs analysis surveys
* Account management assistance of an enterprise level implementation of VerticalCurve
DAM for a national financial institution based in Winston Salem.
* General participation with client needs discovery and assessment consulting engagements
in the area of content management.
* Web site needs assessment, design and development.

Principal
DASI is a professional resource for system integration, website development and the
acquisition, management and delivery of audio and video content over the Internet. DASI
further provides clients with dedicated media server hosting, consulting and project
management services. Notable achievements include:
* Rule Radio: Managed the design and production of this client financed web application
that provides visitors with the ability to audition, purchase and download music files in
MP3 format from a database of nearly 300,000 songs submitted by independent artists
worldwide. Rule Radio includes 7 live music streams and browser based administration tools
for creating subscription accounts and uploading music files and associated images for
synchronous display with the cybercasted audio stream. Contributed directly to interface
design, graphics production and HTML coding while overseeing program development with
software engineers.
* Westminster Dog Show (www.westminsterkennelclub.org): Managed all of the digital
photography processing for USA Network and NBC for the Westminster dog show held annually
in New York city for 5 years including on-site image acquisition and editing, database
management and ftp transfer to hosting web server.
* Webcasting: Provided live webcasts for several venues including the 2004 Entrepreneur
of the Year Awards hosted by Ernst & Young in Charlotte, NC and Spectrum Labs. Coordinated
creation of a custom media player for the hosting site and managed all aspects of the
webcasts including live signal capture, encoding and delivery to a national network
distribution provider.
20002002: Swifteye, Greensboro, NC (dissolved in 2002)
Senior Multimedia Consultant
Swifteye provided consulting and software application development services to businesses
nationwide seeking to leverage the explosive growth of the Internet. Principal
responsibility was to serve as a liaison between client and programming staff in the
architecting of applications.
* Responsible for the development and implementation of advanced media services including
audio and video editing, media encoding and integration of streaming media devices within
web pages. Represented Swifteye at numerous imaging and Internet specific conferences and
exhibitions. Coordinated software development for education based products utilizing
interactive media.
* Designed, produced and implemented a specialized on-line educational tool for the State
of Arizona Board of Education called EdGate Radio. This browser based application allowed
students to listen to 60 s and 70 s pop music while viewing slide shows of photographs
licensed from the Associated Press specific to the year each song was released and view
video presentations of key events.
19972000: The Tall Tree Group, Inc., Greensboro, NC
Principal
Provided website production and hosting services while working to develop the burgeoning
technology of streaming media. Notable achievements include:
* Recognized by RealMedia (Seattle, WA) as a level III solutions partner providing
consulting and training services nationwide including guest instruction at Belmont
University (Nashville) for the media staff of the Saturn Division of General Motors.
* Key participation in the design and installation of one of the first nationwide
Internet radio station networks using signal distribution by RealNetworks for Salem
Broadcasting Corporation and Landmark Communications.
* Infodog (www.infodog.com) Designed and built website for MBF, Inc., the largest
superintendent of AKC sanctioned dog show events. Further marketed and managed all site
advertisements with consistent revenue increases each year.
* Designed, produced and hosted over 25 websites.
19951997: MCI Digital Imaging Division, Greensboro, NC (dissolved in 1997)
Multimedia Specialist and Internal Consultant
The Digital Imaging Division of MCI was created in 1995 after the acquisition of a
company called Image Technology to provide MCI clients with consulting and direct
technology services for Internet hosting and development for mostly e-commerce
applications.
* Provided in house research and consulting services for evaluation and selection of
digital media technologies to compliment existing suite of MCI products.
* Provided technical sales support to MCI sales staff marketing Washington, DC based
datacenter facilities and other Digital Imaging Division products to major corporations
including Texaco, Procter & Gamble and other Fortune 500 companies.
* Appeared on a live MCI television broadcast with division sales executive.
Other Career Highlights
1983 Successful bootstrap creation of a personal computer sales company with revenues
just under 1.5 million in its second year providing hardware products and software
training to businesses and universities in central North Carolina.
1988 Successful startup of an advanced computer graphics systems company specializing
in high resolution imaging products and services including 3D animation software, still
video camera systems from Sony and video digitizers from AT&T Truevision Corporation.
Ranked 40th out of 600 dealers worldwide for Truevision products in 1991.
1990 Integrated and marketed a high speed imaging system to AT&T, Ingersoll Rand, The
American Board of Pediatrics, JC Penny and others that allowed photorealistic images
captured with a still video camera and processed with a video digitizer to be transmitted
over ordinary telephone lines to remote clients and annotated jointly in real time for
visual approvals and product inspections.
1992 Assembled the first completely digital photography commercial studio in North
Carolina using first generation digital camera technology from Sony Corporation, computers
from Apple and database driven prepress software from Image Technology and MCI Digital
Imaging.
1993 Designed and produced an interactive Video CD tutorial application for the
Department of Orthopedics, Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University
(Winston Salem, NC) on arthroscopic procedures for the elbow under a grant from Dyonics
Corporation.
1994 Became the first authorized dealer in North Carolina for digital non-linear video
editing systems from Avid Corporation.
