Safety Lead- Oil spill safety lead officer for BP Deep Horizon oil cleanup.
Responsible for safety of fifty beach workers while cleaning up oil. Also
in charge of safety meetings outlining the hazards involved with the oil
clean up.
June 2010-September 2010
EMR Contracting. Mobile, Alabama
Safety Lead- Oil spill site safety lead officer for BP Deep Horizon oil
clean up in Gulfport, Mississippi. Responsible for twenty five safety officers. Handled administrative work for safety site along with all incident reporting to BP and the State of Mississippi. Very familiar with OSHA safety regulations.
January 2009-June 2010
R & R Remodeling. Alabama
Building contractor. Repaired and remodeled residential homes. Supervised onsite work crews according to OSHA safety standards.
April 2008-December 2008
Atlantic Marine Alabama. LLC. Mobile, Alabama
Production Scheduler- Responsible for the scheduling of the ship repair yard and
new construction yards. All scheduling was done using Primavera6 technology. Updated production schedules as advised by individual crafts.
January 1988- January 2008
Vanity Fair Intimates. Monroeville, Alabama.
1988-1997- Production planning manager. Responsible for the scheduling of nine domestic plants, six Mexican plants and four Honduran plants. This included capacity planning, material control, and finish goods inventory. Proficient and knowledgeable of material lead times and the parameters necessary to produce finished goods in a cost effective and timely manner using SAP.
1997-2002- Plant planning representative/ warehouse manager. Responsible for
securing and maintaining of all materials necessary to keep the manufacturing
facility supported. This included materials to keep 550 operators in work with no lost time due to material support for five years. Responsible for $800,000.00 material inventory which included using perpetual inventories to maintain the
accuracy of the inventory quantities. All support and inventory control was maintained using SAP. Twenty employees reported to me including scheduling and yearly assessments. Safety Director for five years for facility. The plant achieved perfect overall safety scores for the period.
2007-2008- Obsolete materials manager- Managed material obsolescence for several businesses for Vanity Fair Corporation. Worked very closely with material suppliers and purchasing to minimize surpluses. Responsible for meeting with senior managers on a monthly basis to outline plans for disposal of
materials. Material tracking was done using SAP technology.
