Corporate Quality Systems Engineer

Responsible for maintaining ISO 9001:2008 Certification for over 130 service locations, including making necessary

updates to the QMS. One of those updates I was responsible for was converting as many procedures and work

instructions that was feasible into flowcharts for easier use and interpretation throughout the organization.

Participate in 40 Insurance company audits annually for compliance to insurance contract requirements

in our service locations around the country.

Conduct International and domestic supplier audits annually to product line specific requirements.

Testing of Physical and Metallurgical properties of OEM and Aftermarket Suppliers products and submit

Designed, Tested and improved packaging for entire line of automobile body replacement parts.

Responsible for managing the ISO quality management system for two manufacturing plants, which included 15

injection molding machines and 50 different production assembly lines as well as several production supply areas.

Chaired scrap reduction efforts and were able to reduce scrap from over 7% to 1.5% a savings of over $150,000.00

annually.

Responsible for maintaining the ISO9002 Quality Management System including the registration and the

internal audit program.

Fielded customer complaints both internally and in the field as necessary, reviewed returns and

troubleshoot them completed corrective actions and follow up as necessary.

Developed on the job training program for all areas of manufacturing, this also included a company model

for implementing similar programs in the future.

Borisch Manufacturing was a startup company less than 1 year old when I was hired; I setup receiving inspection

department, in-process inspections of machined aluminum and castings. Created work instructions for quality

auditors to use from Government an International customer’s contracts to guarantee compliance with their specific

requirements.

Responsible for all layout inspections, researched and justified purchase of CNC CMM.

Conducted environmental testing (cold, heat, humidity, vibration) on electrical assemblies used by both

the military and aerospace industries.

Responsible for completion of FAR 52.209-3 First Article Test Reports for Defense Department contracts.

CNC Lathes, Broaching, Grinding and many secondary operations. Hired as a lead inspector I quickly progressed to

SPC Coordinator, Assistant Quality Control Manager and then Quality Control Manager for 5 years .

Implemented SPC program, training including a 7 computer network system with gage interface.

Designed Machine capability study that was adopted by the National Screw Machine Association.
