As the Sr. Test Engineer on the Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC)

project, His role is to lead the Test Team with a primary focus on

Operational Test and Evaluation supporting the Department of Homeland

Security's (DHS) FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) Logistics

Supply Chain Management System (LSCMS) Task Order. He is responsible for

supporting the Integrated Product Teams (IPT)/Working-level Integrated

Product Teams (WIPT) at customer site or via teleconference;

Software/System Acceptance Testing at defense contractor sites and

recommend/review test procedures and test plans; review requirements

On the US Army - AKO (Army Knowledge Online) Project, As the Test Manager,

he developed project plan and test plan to support the development of the

AKO test environment. He identified testing strategies and approaches to

test new functionality and code fixes for future code migration into the

production environment.

IBM - Global Services; 11/1990 - 5/2005

On the CIGNA - Integration/Production Readiness Project; he was the Project

Manager, managing a $3M project, he was responsible for leading the test

team with the integration / production readiness testing of line of 136

business applications in the CIGNA Link32 environment. Darryl initiated the

project by identifying a sponsor, provided a comprehensive plan and

obtained agreement on the approach. Next, he executed against the plan

providing weekly project status reports in order to control spending and

ensure the communications were consistent. He was responsible for

managing, planning, scheduling, and testing on the project. His team was

responsible for the integration testing of 136 applications over 32 suites.

Along with this were the creation of an end-user environment to ensure

that a representative system is tested and the pre-production compatibility

problem detection for the suite. When the project was complete the 32

suites were deployed to over 35,000 seats (users) throughout the CIGNA

organization across the country.

two third party vendors (Palmetto, Empire - Blue Cross Blue Shield), by

assisting in the planning, tracking and supporting the acceptance test. He

coordinated the implemented, analyzed and converting requirement

toolset. Developed test cases/scripts from the client's business use cases

toolset. Using the Rational Suite (DOORS, ReqPro, Functional Tester, SoDA,

performance/stress testing of the AFF and DPP applications. He managed the

team in executing the functional, regression, system, and performance tests

(using Loadrunner) on 3 different environments (TEST, UAT, and PROD) to

verify the functional/non-functional requirements were being satisfied. He

On the Pennsylvania Energy Company (PECO) - Panvalet/Endevor /PVCS Library

Management Tool Conversion Project; He was the Project Manager, he was

responsible for directing a team of 3 consultants in converting to a new

configuration management tool for COBOL code on the mainframe. The goal of

the project was to retire Panvalet library management tool and convert over

to Endevor's library management tool with minimum problems. While

converting to a new library management tool, the team also was responsible

for managing the code migrations of 3 environments and the production

environment. The team was also responsible for installing PVCS library

management tool on the client/server environment to manage the VB and

Access programs and 3rd party vendors' applications. He also, planned

application retirement, controlled project and executed the retirement

plan, delivering the project on time and within budget. Also, he was the

Test Manager on the PECO's PeopleSoft - HR, Benefits & Payroll Project. He

managed a team of 5 consultants, which consisted of testing the data

conversion of HR, Benefits and Payroll legacy systems to PeopleSoft

the PECO's PassPort Application Implementation project; He was responsible

Proof of Concept/Validation Project; As the Project Manager, he lead a

Pilot project porting an Integrated Case Processing (ICP) mission critical

application currently running on approximately 30 NCR MP-RAS 3.23 (UNIX)

3430s around the country to an IBM RS/6000s AIX environments.

On the FAA/ATC (Federal Aviation Administration /Air Traffic Control)

Project - As the Release Manager/Test Lead/CM Lead, he coordinated and

managed the development cycle for the software organization to meet

delivery dates, and interim and organizational milestones. He tracked day-

to-day activities, issues, status, and schedules. He also performed risk

mitigation to identify impacts to the overall schedule and identified
