Division Manager Woodshop (March 2012- Present)
• Created key performance measures for the division including productivity goals, scrap goals, completed order
goals, and labor hour analysis
• Managed labor needs and headcount taking the operation up to 85 employees from 50 and back down to 60
based on demand and output. Created a satellite woodshop to increase productivity and reduce transportation
costs within the company.
• Purchased equipment allowing the department to increase daily board foot from 30,000 bd ft per day up to
45,000 bd ft per day. Redeployed 7 people in the operation with the purchase of one saw.
• Lead operations meetings with supervisors, quality control, and other division managers
• Participate and comply with ISO 9001 standards in regards to flow and heat treat auditors
• Quote new packaging and supply packaging to internal and external customers daily
LeanCor LLC, Florence, Kentucky (Located in North Liberty, Iowa) May 2010 – March 2012
Operations Manager (May 2010 – March 2012)
Hired into LeanCor warehouse in North Liberty Iowa to manage warehouse activities including cross-docking
functions of inventory, sequencing parts, and perform assembly operations. Assigned to work with material planners at
our customer’s facility to change supplier deliveries to a kanban system. Participate in monthly reviews with
LeanCor’s VP of operations along with quarterly business reviews with LeanCor CEO’s and our customer’s
management staff.
Accomplishments and Responsibilities:
• Purchased over $600,000 worth of material handling equipment for our North Liberty, Iowa facility and a
new facility in Florence, Kentucky.
• Successfully changed North Liberty warehouse layout to accommodate 300 new parts, four new cells, and the
addition of 30 new positions in the first quarter of 2012.
• Participated in launching six new production lines in 2010. Started out with batch production and made the
move to one-piece flow or 1X1 production for our customer

o Conduct daily PDCA meetings to track projects and identify daily issues
o Ensure 5S standards are maintained throughout the facility
o Creating a world-class facility using visual management and other lean tools
o Map out static homes for parts in the warehouse using PFEP data utilizing FIFO
practices
o Partner up with material planners from our customers on new parts coming into
the facility and obsolescence procedures for parts not being used
• Participate in the planning of new product launches and developing business cases to bring in additional
operations from our customers.
• Develop a rack maintenance program to assure sequencing racks do not pose quality issues with parts
transfers from the warehouse to the plant.

Accomplishments and Responsibilities:
• Managed three production lines, consisting of 85 Members producing vertical files, desk tops, and
desks (a combined revenue over $80 million annually).
• Experience leading production lines in the Superflex, Storage and Vertical File businesses, averaging
45 members running products such as bookcases, overfiles, tub files, storage towers, file centers,
and storage cabinets.
• Experience leading the procurement (shop floor stores area) within Oak Steel. This area consisted
of 10 Members, supplying the plant with purchased parts from our supermarket area. Roughly 95%
of the plants purchased parts are kept in this area.
• Worked with outside vendors on a daily basis to assure prompt deliveries to satisfy our customer’s
demands.
• Significant Accomplishments within my Group Leader roles consist of:
o Desk Line’s revenue per member hour increased from $155.00 up to $186.00 in 2009
o Vertical File’s net efficiency increased from 78.1% to 106% in 2009
o Led the Parts Rack implementation team at Oak Steel using a procured parts program
creating barcoding, implementing scanners, and made changes to use on manufactured
parts within Oak Steel to track inventory throughout the plant while on the procurement
team
o Initial Vertical File Line experience saw the net efficiency rise from 67% up to 85% in
2008
o While in the Storage Cabinet and Superflex departments I assisted with the development of
the department layout in 2000 and 2001
