Job Experience:
Top Shelf Car Wash
Deltona, FL
July 7, 2010 to current date
Almost three years ago, Top Shelf Car Wash opened as a brand new company;
they held a job fair where I applied and later became employed on the 7th
of July 2010. I am currently working there today as a supervisor, and
though I will soon be promoted to assistant manager, I am looking for a new
job due to inconsistent hours and low pay rate. All employees were hired at
the same position; a group of employees including myself were later hired
for full time employment due to good performance. I have many different
duties at the car wash including, maintenance, advertisement, and customer
service. All jobs are outside, very fast paced, and require much physical
work. Through this job I have learned to be more outgoing, to offer better
customer service, to better myself as a salesperson, and to better my
organization/muti-tasking skills. In my third month I received both a
promotion and employee of the month. I now not only express detail our
customers cars but I also overlook my employees work as well as their
supervisor. After an employee has finished cleaning a car I inspect it,
make sure everything is up to standard, and greet the customer (including
handling rather or not the customer is satisfied). I also have become very
well trained in up selling. With my new title, I also handle employee
breaks, labor percent's, customer damage claims, further maintenance, the
cash register, nightly books and deposits, and much more.
Census Bureau
Deltona, Fl
April 27, 2010 to May 30, 2010
I was temporarily employed at the Census Bureau as an Enumerator. My job
was to go door to door collecting the information needed for the Census of
2010 from the household members that did not complete and turn in their
Census on Census day. I also did much paperwork while working for the
Census including filing and payroll.
Leibe Entertainment Group
Orange City, Fl.
January 2009 to December 2009 I was employed at Leibe
Entertainment group for almost a full year doing various jobs within the
theater. The location of the theater was originally owned by Regal
Entertainment Group and was later sold to Leibe. All employees were offered
a job with the new company and a select few, including myself, was offered
to move to a different Regal location. When I made the decision to work for
the new company I helped with several renovations before the theater's re-
opening. Myself and several other employees did jobs such as painting,
cleaning, even removing old baseboards and ceiling tiles; I also helped to
advertise for the re-opening. After the theater re-opened I mainly worked
in the concessions, dealing with food preparation, serving, inventory,
dishes, and working the cash register. Working in the concessions improved
my up selling and suggestive selling skills as well. I was also trained as
an Usher and in the Box Office, where I worked on occasion. I also
continued to help with daily maintenance throughout the theater and had
also been responsible for answering the phone responding to any questions a
customer may have. I have much experience in customer service and have
dealt with several different types of people in my past jobs. I recently
lost my job in December due to events that happened during my maternity
leave, which I can later explain if asked for an interview.
Regal Entertainment Group
Orange City, Fl.
June 2008 to December 2008 I was employed at Regal
Entertainment Group for a total of seven months until a small independent
company bought out the location as the lease ended (Leibe Entertainment
Group). While working for Regal Entertainment, I was responsible for many
areas of the company. I mainly worked in the concessions, dealing with food
preparation, serving, inventory, dishes, and working the cash register.

but would like to leave the movie theater business due to very low hours
and low pay.
McDonalds
Deland,
Fl
May 2007 to October 2007
I worked for McDonalds a total of six months. McDonalds was my first job
and I was employed there part time during my junior year of high school. At
McDonalds I learned a lot about customer service, dealing with many
different types of people. I worked mainly as a cashier, but also worked on
the grill, fryer, in the drive-thru, as a runner, serving, and handled
maintenance. This company is very strict about cleanliness policies and I
learned a lot about different ways to keep my work environment clean and
sanitized. Also working with McDonalds I learned good time management
because I balanced not only school and work at the same time but I also
continued to participate in my after school activities. I left McDonalds
due to loss of transportation.

years of my high school career, not only writing the articles, but also
taking photographs and working as a page editor. My freshman year, I was
active in Key Club doing a lot of volunteer work through the school; I also

was extremely active in the drama classes that were offered, especially the
advanced theater class. I participated in two school plays, Night of Stars
performances, the district and state competitions and I am now a member of
the National Thespians Society. Through theater I have learned to be
outgoing, great memorization skills, and many other lessons that could be
applied to everyday life. I was also a part of the school choir and swim
team. I graduated in the year of 2008 with a 3.0 GPA.
Other: Some of the skills that may enhance my performance in this career
are, I am very familiar with computers and have experience book keeping in
my most recent place of work. I am a very fast learner, reliable,
determined, a hard worker, self-disciplined, well organized, outgoing, and
very friendly. I do work well under pressure and love to stay productive. I
will give your company a hundred and ten percent and do everything
necessary to become a successful member of your staff. I believe I would be
an outstanding employee for your company and would love the opportunity to
prove why I'm worth taking a chance. I look forward to possibly working
with you in the future in any of the available jobs. Thank you
