Maintenance/Refrigeration Manager
Managing all maintenance and refrigeration procedures of the plant
including PM programs, Ammonia refrigeration program, Maintenance
budgeting, Capital projects, purchasing. Managing 6 maintenance
technicians and 4 refrigeration technicians. This is a further processing
facility that does contract work for three large poultry companies.
2005 - 2007 Sanderson Farms
McComb, MS
Plant Manager
Managed all operations of the plant including production, accounting, sales
staff, purchasing, quality control, human resources, maintenance, and
sanitation. Managing twenty-five salary personnel including four
department managers, and a maintenance manager. The total number of hourly
employees was 1600. Slaughtering and processing 1,500,000 birds per week
under the SIS program. This plant has two picking lines and four
evisceration lines. Second processing consists of four dapec lines, whole
bird sizing, eighteen overwrap machines, cryovac machine and leg quarter
bagger. All front halves produced go to the debone department. All
product is tray packed, prepriced, and shipped according to retail grocery
store chains sales order requests. I left Sanderson Farms to move to the
Brandon, MS area so I could be closer to family.
2003 - 2005 Tyson Foods
Carthage, MS
Plant Manager
Managed all operations of the plant including production, accounting, sales
staff, purchasing, quality control, human resources, maintenance, and
sanitation. Managing twenty-five salary personnel including four
production managers, and a maintenance manager. The total number of hourly
employees was 3,500. Slaughtering and processing 2,600,000 birds per week
under the HIMP program. This plant has three picking lines and three high
speed Meyn lines. Second processing consists of six Dapec flex lines. All
fronts produced go to the debone plant, wings are removed in cut-up and
packed in CVP, and leg quarters are packed in 40 lb. Bulk or 6/5's.
2001 - 2003 Choctaw Maid Farms, Inc.

Plant Manager
Managed all operations of the plant including production, accounting, sales
staff, purchasing, quality control, human resources, maintenance, and
sanitation. Managed twenty-five salary personnel including four production
managers and a maintenance manager. The total number of hourly employees
was 3,500. Slaughtering and processing 2,600,000 birds per week under the
HIMP program. This plant has three picking lines and six evisceration
lines. Second processing consists of four Foodcraft halvers and two stork
lines. All fronts produced, go to the debone plant and leg quarters are
packed in 40 lb. Bulk or 6/5's. Choctaw Maid Farms was acquired by Tyson
Foods, Inc. in 2003.
1999 - 2001 Choctaw Maid Farms, Inc.

staff, purchasing, quality control, human resources, maintenance, and
sanitation. Managing eighteen salary personnel including two plant
superintendents and a maintenance manager. The total number of hourly
employees was 1,300. Slaughtering and processing 875,000 birds per week
under the NELS program. This plant had one picking line and two
evisceration lines. Second processing consisted of WOG orders, fronts for
debone, drum and thigh, and bulk leg quarters. I moved to the Carthage,
Mississippi facility in 2001.
1997 - 1999 Golden Rod Broilers

Managed all operations of the plant including production, accounting, sales
staff, purchasing, quality control, human resources, maintenance, and
sanitation. Managing fourteen salary personnel including an assistant
plant manager, an office manager, and a maintenance manager. The total
number of hourly employees was 875. Slaughtering and processing 600,000
birds per week under the SIS program. This plant had one picking line and
two evisceration lines. Second processing consisted of WOG orders, KFC,
and bulk leg quarters. I left Golden Rod Broilers to become a plant
manager for Choctaw Maid Farms, Inc.
1996 - 1997 Marshall Durbin, Inc.
Tupelo, MS
Assistant Plant Manager
Managed all operations of the plant including production, maintenance,
sanitation, purchasing, and quality control. Managing fourteen salary
personnel and a team of technical and clerical staff. The total number of
hourly employees was 700. Slaughtering and processing 875,000 birds per
week under the NELS program.
This plant had on picking line and two evisceration lines. Second
processing consisted of fronts, drum and thigh and layer pack bulk leg
quarters. I left Marshall Durbin, Inc. to become a plant manager.
1991 - 1996 Choctaw Maid Farms, Inc.
Carthage, MS
Shift Manager
Managed all operations of the plant on a shift. During this time the plant
went through a massive expansion, going from a two line SIS plant to a four
line NELS plant. The total number of hourly employees increased from 650
to 1375. We slaughtered 1,600,000 birds per week. We went from a four line
Debone operation to an eight line Debone operation. We also added
Marination, IQF, and CVP. At this time I managed five superintendents,
twenty-four supervisors, and approximately seven hundred fifty employees.
I left Choctaw Maid Farms, Inc. to become an assistant plant manager.
