Planning and Scheduling using ERP Software, Quality Assurance, Associates

Performance Reviews, and coordinate materials with Purchasing and Shipping

Departments. Worked with Engineering Department on design, prototyping, and

testing new displays. This position reported directly to the President and

COO of the company.

The last position held was Plant Manager, from 2003 to 2010. I had overseen

the Manufacturing Facility over 3 Shifts, with a staff of 4 Manufacturing

Managers, Scheduling Manager, 12 Hourly Foremen, and over 200 employees for

a Hardwood Stair Parts Manufacturer. Improve productivity by using

continuous improvement tactics and applying the elements of Lean

Production. Develop, document, and implement processes manufacturing new

parts and improving the existing product line. Cooperate with sales and

Marketing to develop special packaging and procedures for our customer

requirements, reducing lead-times, and improving on-time delivery. Teamed

up with Human Resource on recruiting, evaluating work performance, handling

personnel issues, and establishing and maintaining behavioral safety

standards. Collaborated with Production Planning and Purchasing to

establish JIT Inventories, Supplies, and Quantity of Finish Goods and Raw

Materials. Reported to the Vice President of Manufacturing and together we

developed the operating budget for manufacturing.
