Work Experience:
Au Pair for the LAFONTAINE Family September 2012-June 2013
Cell: +336******** (CURRENTLY EMPLOYED)
19 rue les Hauts de l’Erdre
44240 LA CHAPELLE SUR ERDRE
Position: Looking after Margaux (7) and Charlotte (5) LAFONTAINE. My duties involved
waking them up each morning at 7:20, and helping them get ready for school. I would then pick
them up in the afternoon at 4:45, help them do homework, bathe them, and play with them till
their parents would return home. Along with that I would take them to dance class every
Wednesday morning, and Tennis class every Friday evening after school. Part of my duties
required doing at least one night of babysitting on the weekend meaning preparing dinner for the
two girls, playing with them, and then putting them to bed. Also when they would have
vacation, which was usually a span of two weeks, I was required to spend one of the two weeks
watching the girls.
Coffee Please May 2011-August 2012
6930 Miami Ave.
Cincinnati, OH 45243
Manager: Lisa Schlake
Position: Barista
Duties: Working at Coffee Please helped me learn how to handle several tasks at once in a high
energy setting. Between making food, fulfilling drink orders, and taking care of customers I was
able to greatly increase my skills in interacting one-on-one with people everday, and be able to
learn how to cope in stressful situations, and find a positive solution. It required me to think on
my toes, and how to stay positive when situations sometimes went awry.
Alliance Française de Cincinnati January 2011-August 2012
2373 Harrison Avenue
Cincinnati, OH 45211
Advisor: Alexander Morgan
Position: French Teacher Assistant
Duties: In working with the Alliance Francaise, I helped lead a couple classes a week to teach
french to young kids aged 4 to 8 years old. This experience taught me how to interact with large
and small groups of individuals, and how to act accordingly when there were a wide range of
ages and skill levels. This opportunity gave me the chance to experience what it is like to teach a
foreign language to individuals, how to create lesson plans, and keep a group of individuals
engaged when a topic is difficult or complicated. I was able to use my office skills even more in
creating more complicated and intricate lesson plans for the kids, and also create activities and
worksheets that met the students skill levels. I started working for the Alliance Francaise as a
Teaching Assistant, but as my experience increased I was moved up to a teacher position to lead
classes on my own if they needed a substitute.

involved wiping down desks, vacuuming, and taking out the trash. I was also required to learn
