INDUSTRIAL EXPOSURE
. Currently Working as QA- Executive (Trainee) at Glaxo Smith Kline
Consumer Healthcare (From 11th June 2012-Till date)
Key Responsibility
V Coordinating R&D trials and providing technically support for new
product formulation.
V Ensure right product quality is released for market by carrying out
the timely and accurate analysis of all the finished products from all
manufacturing units and timely feedback to Production on quality
trends.
V To manage all initiatives associated with the GQP, EHS & compliance at
site.
V Coordinating for site quality management, FSMS, GMP and HACCP system
V Providing technical support for troubleshooting & product quality
issues (RCA).
V Maintaining the Good laboratory Practices (GLP) & Laboratory Safety to
get more accurate and precise results
. Four Months In-plant Training at BANAS DAIRY, Palanpur, Gujarat (25th Jan
- 24th May 2010) an HACCP, ISO-9001-2000 certified company.
Training included exposure on wider spectrum of milk process plant, UHT
milks, Ice-cream, evaporator-spray drying plant, buttermilk, butter and
ghee section, and quality assurance including HACCP, ISO.
. One Month In-plant Training at SCHREIBER DYNAMIX DAIRIES LTD. Baramati,
Maharashtra (6th July - 4th August 2009) an HACCP, ISO-9001-2000, ISO-
22000, ISO-14001 and OHSAS-18001certified organization.
Training included exposure to manufacture of tetra-packed Tropicana fruit
juices, UHT milk, different cheese variety, milk powders (WMP, SMP, and
dairy whitener), casein, whey protein concentrates, butter, ghee, yoghurt
and Dahi.
Research Projects during M-Tech (Dairy Chemistry)
"Studies on the detection and determination of extraneous thiocyanates in
milk" which was carried out with following objectives:
. Developed a Qualitative Test for Detection of Extraneous thiocyanates
in Milk
. Establishment of natural levels of thiocyanates in cow and buffalo
milks
. Studies on effect of various processing treatment, and additives on
the thiocyanates estimation
. Effect of formalin preservation and natural souring on thiocyanate
estimation in milk
EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES & ACHIEVEMENTS
ACADEMICS
. Completed 3 days training on "Packaging of fresh and processed foods"
at NIFTEM, Sonepat.
. Attended International Conference on "Functional Dairy Foods", NDRI,
Karnal.
. Participated in National Seminar on NOVEL TRENDS IN DAIRY INDUSTRY
and presented Poster on "A Modified approach for manufacturing of
vegetable & fruit based kulfi"
. Participated in Intercollegiate Science Exhibition at Phulsing Naik
Mahavidhalaya, Pusad (MH) and represented a cooling tower model for
its potential applications at household level and small scale
industry.
SPORTS & EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
. Awarded twice as the Best Athlete of NDRI for the year 2011 and 2012.
. Participated in ALL INDIA INTER-UNIVERSITY YOUTH FESTIVAL 'REVERIE'
held at Karnal.
. Participated three times in" ASHWAMEDH", a state level Inter-
University Tournament as a Captain of university KHO-KHO Team.
. Two times Winner in STATE LEVEL HOCKEY TOURNAMENT during school days.
. Participated as a Volunteer in Pulse Polio Campaign.
. Actively participated in annual sports meet and was Sport Secretary of
Student council NDRI
