system encompassing the data from multiple manufacturing locations. Data was getting populated into
datamart through 4 different sources. From these sources reports were getting generated.

engagement beginning. I worked in the knowledge transfer phase as Support Analyst for supporting the
Finance applications stand alone. Also I represented the finance applications as the understanding of the
company.

Position: Informatica Developer
Pearson Technology Group (PTG) is the IT arm of Pearson Education, which takes care of US School,
US Higher Education and Professional Publishing. Business Intelligence Group (BIG), part of PTG, is the
nerve center of critical and sensitive business data from various publishing groups within Pearson
Education (PE).
In this data warehousing project, the higher educational publications data were coming from different
regions and countries on a daily basis. There were 150 around scheduled cron jobs for data loading into
the data warehouse after applying the business logic. Those cron jobs were automated into the
scheduled “Autosys” jobs based on the time and region so that the data in data warehouse is updated
with the recent sales data. Also there were scheduled weekly, monthly and yearly jobs. There jobs were
also automated into the “Autosys” jobs.
Responsibilities:
W orked as Developer in two projects for Pearson.

W orked on automation of cron jobs into Scheduled Autosys jobs in UNIX.

three lawyer’s site of this firm.
1. Parker: Parker is a database of Firms and their lawyers and attorneys information, located in
California. This information is used to produce the California Directory of firms and their attorneys.
Responsibilities:
• W orked as single billable resource on this project. Prepared documents for whole life cycle of project.
• W orked on maintenance issues, and new requests of reports. Created stored procedures, UNIX
scripts. Generated reports in crystal reports.

the statistics for the fortune 500 companies.
