November 2008 Developed and submitted divisional worldwide direct material budgets for 3 calendar years.
Budget included up to 18 plants on 3 continents and totaled over $1.2B.
Developed and Implemented a price variance analysis database in MS Access using raw data
directly from SAP and QAD ERP systems. Buyers use the database to explain variances to
budgeted pricing levels on a monthly basis. The system has caught mistakes saving the
corporation over $4M to date and is used to send escalated commodity quantities to
Corporate Treasury for SOX compliance.
Resolved $2.6M in supplier cost recoveries through the implementation of a database to track
and verify the collection of cost recoveries.
Saved over $3M in cost savings project through collaboration with Sales Team.
Support the SAP system conversions for 3 divisional divestitures as a Power User. Activities
included process mapping, data cleansing, data verification and functional integrity throughout
the User Acceptance Testing, Data Loads, and Day 1 activities.
The Kyklos Bearing Inc., which has a budgeted direct material purchase of $78M, was
divested smoothly and timely on May 1st, 2008. Data collection and preparatory work has
begun for the other 2 divestitures, which are scheduled for late 2008/ first quarter 2009.
Maintained and partially developed the divisional metrics scorecard since 2006. Of 26 metrics
currently on the scorecard, I calculated 17 directly by pulling data from corporate systems and
tracking tools.
Developed a Supplier Quality database in MS Access to calculate divisional PPM and 5 other
supplier quality metrics.
Developed a Sharepoint-based Headcount tracking tool that the department uses to track
headcount globally.

program timing, quality, and delivery in adherence to corporate objectives and procedures.
Some programs had total purchase values over $5 million. Particular focus on injected
molded plastic components.
Earned a Six Sigma Green Belt by reducing variation in the process of calculating and
negotiating obsolescence claims.
Managed contracts for over 500 parts from more than 50 supplier that were already in
production with responsibility for design changes and resolving any issue that posed a threat
to production or negative cost impacts.
Led several cost reduction projects and negotiations, resulting in over $5 million in cost
savings. Some projects involved driving design, tooling, or supplier changes, where the
responsibility was to manage cost, timing, quality and delivery. Some projects also involved
working directly with Delphi customers.

troubled suppliers. The database was initially developed for one division, but was
