Senior Project Manager member of the services group leading business deployment projects that

focus on integration of customized applications and services, IT infrastructure and data storage.

Successful completion of small and large deployment projects required hands on management of

internal and vendor resources and liaison with clients’ business and technology teams. Specifically

my role is responsible for facilitating and supporting the design, development, and implementation

of PM strategies that address diverse, complex technical solutions with global implications.

Among numerous successful small and large technology deployments, selected accomplishments

included;

Conducted successful relocations and deployments of multiple production data centers for top

publishing company. Established solid customer and partner relationships to properly manage

overall expectation and direction. Assisted customer in decisions on project priorities, budgets,

time-lines and vendor integration. Primary project accomplishments focused on long term

technology growth plans for client access, application support and data provisioning. Fully

accountable for resource management for hardware and applications implementations,

configurations, data availability and BCP.

Successfully completed global IT infrastructure build-outs required for data management,

disaster recovery and customer support for international government entity. Participated in

global review of technology requirements, applied stakeholders’ specifications and managed

global delivery, internal, client and vendor resource management, planning and execution.

Member of services delivery team leading and successfully executing customer engagements.

Personally responsible for facilitating and supporting the design, applications development, and

implementation of required technology strategies. Selected engagements included;

Directed the development and successful global implementation of CRM application for top

financial company’s call center. Effectively researched requirements for infrastructure,

reporting structure and international “follow the sun” response teams. Assured connectivity

provisioning with US and oversees providers. Facilitated effective workflow between Lucent

creative and global customer technology teams resulting in flawless multi site turnkey

integration.

Led and successfully completed several technology deployments including global

communication infrastructure upgrade for top investment company. Responsible for the

development of year 2000 systems compliance strategies. Accountable to assure that standards

were established, agreed to by management, documented and implemented expediently.

Served as a liaison between internal business and technology teams and communication

service providers.

Lead team of software consultants in planning, design and implementation of Windows 2000

Active Directory Domain for a large pharmaceutical company. In charge of development and

proposal of administrative and operations models for client’s business unit.

Project Manager for the design and implementation of the secured communications command

data center and multi-site satellite centers for US Armed Forces. Extensive work with local

phone and internet service providers. Successfully navigated unique challenges in the areas of

government interaction and security, contracts management with local unions and outside

contractors.

MCI International – Manager/Team Lead 1980 - 1998

Successful leadership and execution resulted in achieving a Manager level position. Responsible for

Systems Engineering PMO team in career planning, business and personal development, day-to-day

operations and working with Senior Management on strategic business developments. Career

highlights included;

Spearheaded a Project Management Office team of project managers, technical writers and

Engineers to support MCI’s business objectives and improve customer service.

Successfully completed planning and build out of the Office Automation and software QA

testing data center. Assembled team of engineers, developed charter and participated in

worldwide software product marketing. Team focused on assuring customized eMail

applications development, product functionality and seamless integration. Documented

success has been attributed to expert leadership and quality support of my team enabling

MCI’s successful foray into eMail services generating incremental revenue for over 10 years.
