AP processing, monthly reporting and forecasts, account reconciliations, product costing, and capital
acquisition. Annually lead process for operating and capital budgeting, standard cost development, and
physical inventories of material and capital assets. Supervise two accounting professionals and two
clerical positions.
2001 – 2003 Cost Manager Nursery Supplies, Inc. Chambersburg, PA
Reported to the CFO of this family-owned plastic molding business. Responsible for the development
and implementation of metrics to analyze processes across five manufacturing facilities. Coordinated
consolidation of operations reporting, budgeting, and costing.
1997 – 2001 Director, Costing JLG, Inc. McConnellsburg, PA
Reporting to the VP of Finance, supervised three Plant Controllers and 3 accounting professionals. In
addition to coordinating operations budgeting, reporting, and costing, worked with senior management to
implement a continuous improvement cost reduction program. Served as Finance representative on the
MAPICS software upgrade team. Provided cost analysis for potential acquisitions.
1996 – 1997 Financial Analyst GTS, Inc. Moscow, Russia
A privately held company providing telephone, cell phone, and fiber optic services to developing
countries. The company was preparing for an IPO and sent a team to work with the external auditors in
Russia to establish controls and process documentation for AR, AP, and inventory. This was a one year
assignment.
