OBJECTIVE To obtain a supply chain position of LEAN leadership, one that is challenging, a
position which will allow me to utilize my experience and knowledge of LEAN, Six
Sigma and management to facilitate increased productivity and better quality
within systems through teamwork, education, and innovation.
ACHIEVEMENTS
LEADERSHIP:
Design and deploy strategic corporate program reaching over 25,000
employees established to eliminate waste and provide value through
continuous improvement. Developed service based principle centered
LEAN systems model.
Transformed 80+ year old company built on batch methodology into a
flexible just-in-time network.
EDUCATOR/MENTOR:
Developed training curricula and materials; Mentored 60+ indirect
reports towards the implementation of a corporate model of LEAN
excellence.
Educated key supply chain leaders on effective LEAN deployment thru
tactical “hands-on” demonstrations of process dissection and effective
KPI integration.
RESULTS:
Implementation of LEAN value stream based approach which improved
operating income by 15% year over year ($31.7 million) through the
generation of more revenue, due to improved system velocity, while
minimizing variable cost through the elimination of non-value added
activities.
Utilized consolidation/simplification approach to turn $100 million dollar
business unit into companies top profit center.
