Highly motivated professional engineer with ten years of experience in engineering and land surveying who is

capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines. Preparation and review of

construction plans involving single and multi-family residential subdivisions, condominiums and apartment

complexes, mobile home parks, shopping centers, restaurants, corporate and medical offices, and research

parks.

SKILLS & ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

Improvement plan preparation of geometric layouts, storm sewer design, sanitary sewer design, grading

design, earthwork estimates, final plats, engineering specifications, easement documentation and exhibits,

construction cost opinions, split and combination maps, and survey base mapping.

Management of employees by overseeing work and keeping them productive.

Organize the preparation of preliminary plans and final plats and coordinate during the design process. Tasks

include meeting with the client for master planning as well as regulatory agencies. Exceptional knowledge of

implementing survey data with project designs.

Streamlined the process in which plats are completed and the tracking process once it has been submitted.

Fluently uses AutoCAD, AutoCAD Land Desktop, and Agtek Earthwork 3D software. Experience using ArcGIS

software as well.

annually in my name to a graduating student-athlete demonstrating a high level of leadership, dedication,

and commitment.

PROJECT EXPERIENCE:

Strongsville Police Station Renovations and Addition – Strongsville, Ohio. The City of Strongsville Police Station

and City Hall building is currently being expanded. The existing 19,000 s.f. building will be expanded to 42,000

s.f. and the site will have a separate vehicle garage with an indoor firing range. I am part of the design team

in which my responsibilities include preparation of site construction plans, including a comprehensive

demolition plan. I am also responsible for the planning commission approvals and zoning code compliance.

Lorain County Community College North Entrance Drive Improvements – Elyria, Ohio. This improvement

project involved widening an entrance drive to four lanes and widening a connecting access drive to three

lanes. Additional lanes were needed to improve traffic circulation on campus and to eliminate lengthy traffic

backups on the highway approach into the campus. As project engineer, I completed the horizontal

roadway alignment for the 4-lane drive improvement and designed the centerline profile grade.

Municipal Engineering – North Olmsted/North Royalton, Ohio. In this position I performed site plan reviews for

any new construction projects within the city. I updated all maps within the City of North Royalton. I also

assisted the North Royalton Wastewater Department with an inflow and infiltration study. Also for the City of

Royalton, I assembled the NPDES Phase 2 stormwater report that has to be submitted to the Ohio EPA on an

annual basis.

Amherst Village Mobile Home Park – Amherst, Ohio. This pavement replacement project involved replacing

existing asphalt streets with new, wider concrete streets. I performed the grading design, storm sewer design

and alignments for the streets. One of the challenges on this project was ensuring that existing driveway

grades were in alignment with the proposed street grades. I also assisted in the bidding process for this

project.

Martin’s Run – Lorain, Ohio. This 500+-acre planned community is slated to offer 2,340 dwelling units when

complete. The community boasts trails, parks and open space set aside for enhanced beautification and a

diverse selection of single-family, cluster, multi-family and active adult homes and lifestyles. I designed

geometric layouts for multiple phases and assisted in the approval process.

Heritage Square – Avon, Ohio. As project engineer, I prepared numerous preliminary site configurations for this

12.67-acre commercial development. Site scenarios addressed the needs of multiple tenants, parking

requirements, utilities, easements and municipal code restrictions. Preliminary earthwork considerations

included addressing a 35-foot drop from one corner of the site to the other. Earthwork models were prepared

to estimate the amount of additional clay material that would be required to balance the site.

The Shoppes at Boston Heights Feasibility Study – Boston Heights, Ohio. As project engineer, I participated in a

site investigation to determine the total estimated construction cost on this 70-acre project. A 60-foot

elevation difference on the site required earthwork modeling to estimate the additional amount of clay

material that would be needed, as well as the total amount of earth moving activity that would be required on

site. Preliminary designs of utilities were prepared for cost estimating, as well. A line-of-sight study was

prepared to determine the visibility of the site from nearby State Route 8.

Deerfield Commercial Development – Lorain/Amherst, Ohio. As project engineer, I prepared a geometric site

plan for the Target department store anchor on the Amherst side of the project. As part of the site design, an

Agtek earthwork model was prepared to calculate earthwork quantities for the Target and entire commercial

site. The client required various site exhibits showing the layout and use of the property. On the Lorain side of

the project, a geometric site plan was prepared for multiple tenants as well as another big-box retailer. One

of the challenges faced on this project was differing zoning codes and city requirements because the

development straddles the cities of Amherst and Lorain.

PROJECT EXPERIENCE SUMMARY:

I have performed engineering for all phases of commercial and residential development projects, from

preliminary design and agency approvals to preparation of construction documents. My experience includes

designing and preparing plans for storm sewers, sanitary sewers, water mains, and earthwork and grading. I

have assisted and/or completed the geometric design, record plat preparation, preliminary planning and

approval process of more than 90 subdivision phases.
