Summary of Projects and Assignments:
Prepared an introduction to Forest Products, Glossary of Terms and industry manufacturing practices. This
included technical description of the materials and refining process that were used to produced the forest product
line. This document will be used in the future for training purposes.
High level overview of raw material and energy resources used in the finished goods segment. Performed a
comparison of material and energy cost trends, forecasting of the major raw material and energy and water
consumption used within in the corporation.
Conducted a Value Chain Analysis of the Forest Products Industry comparing the top ten customers of Hexion
and the financial impact of customers to Hexion and their ability to provide products for the housing market
over a long term period. Studied the cash position of each of these top ten customers that were publically
traded.
Compared key statistics that will help to better understand costs and proficiencies
Establish positive or negative trends analysis
Benchmark for future year comparisons and budget process
Assisted in the development of month end performance reports. Responsible for collecting data from all
manufacturing sites and presenting this data to the finance department in a standard format.

Assisted in the development of a new OEM Heavy Duty Mirror System for the European market. Assisted in
the prototype builds and delivery schedule.
Investigated tooling invoice discrepancies and developed reports and time lines for management in order to use
during renegotiating tooling costs.
Developed process sequencing and methods that correspond to the product costing of the new mirror systems.
Reconciled the direct labor costing to the quoted product costs.
Trained operators and new process team leaders to the product sequence and methods.
Accounted and took inventory of obsolete tooling and fixtures for the accounting department. Organized
information on location of obsolete tooling and residual value.
Planned and scheduled build sequence for new product testing program samples. Properly documented the
samples and tracked testing samples with the engineering department.
