• Completed 2 building additions totaling 80,000 sq. ft. with no safety or environmental incidents,
ahead of schedule and under budget. Renovated floor space in excess of 250,000 sq. ft.
• Developed and implemented an analysis tool to evaluate building condition and prioritize capital

• Directed the design of processes cooling water system for a new product process that resulted in a
reduction in capital expense of $100,000, reduced recurring maintenance cost and significantly

operation of plant and equipment of a 1,600,000 sq. ft. manufacturing operation. Directed the efforts of
approximately 25 engineers providing support to the manufacturing activities.
• Administered an energy management program that achieved a 5% reduction in cost for 4
consecutive years.
• Effectively assigned manpower to business units within the manufacturing facility to operate in a
matrix organization. This resulted in reduced cost and increased effectiveness.
• Implemented a robust FEMA plan to insure the facility infrastructure would not interrupt
manufacturing operations.
• Planned and completed a major relocation of product and equipment from the Elyria facility to the
Columbus facility within 6 months and under budget.
