University; I am currently in the process of completing my PhD in Leadership studies at Gonzaga

University.

• In the role of an information technology manager and as a information systems consultant has given

me the experience of developing information technology solutions for clients and employers within a

specific budget and timeframe, as well as successfully designing a network infrastructure from both a

logical and physical perspective.

• My experience also includes the application of the systems development life cycle techniques for the

creation of a management information system, which included research and testing of new products

such as Citrix, virtual conferencing, computer based training, and web training. Another aspect of my

experience is in the creation of disaster recovery and business continuity planning.

• My technical background qualifies me to maintain various servers and client systems; opens the door

for me to teach in a number of computer sciences and management information systems classes.

• My experience as a former information technology principal and project manager has given me the

Professional Summary:

My career experience focuses on the management of technology projects and teams. I have used Project

Management Institute (PMI) methodologies in the completion of the projects highlighted here and detailed

below. My use of the PMI standards enables me to successfully track, inform, and guide the helpdesk and

video conferencing projects I have worked on. My experience in developing cost analysis and project

scopes for technology infrastructure builds and ASP outsource projects has enabled me to present value

added material and information to stakeholders on various projects including wireless network rollout for,

content management, and educational meeting spaces for some of the companies noted below. I have used

change management and vendor management techniques to represent my former employers and clients

when working with vendors on RFPs for ASP proposals and lifecycle redesigns. For the last 10 years I have

successful managed teams of people developing the projects noted above in both mission critical and

classroom environments, in these efforts I draw on over 15 years of knowledge gained in leadership

training and organizational management courses.

Professional Skills:

25 years accumulated knowledge as a technology project manager, information technology manager,

network administrator, and desktop support specialist. I possess several years of management experience as

well as numerous classes on management in my pursuit of a PhD in leadership studies. As to my abilities I

am an information technology (IT) professional with over 25 years experience in IT in the areas of systems

management, telecom, systems development, business continuity, vendor relations, employee management,

training, as well as several other key IT areas as highlighted below.

• Project Management: Developed several network solutions for implementation consideration for

current employer and several clients including peer to peer, Terminal Server, ASP, Voice and

Video over IP and client / server solution. Produced cost analysis studies for the above solutions

and contacted necessary vendors for demonstrations as well as producing written

recommendations showing the potential returns of each solution.

• Risk Management Experience: I possess four years of risk management assessment with regards

to facilities risk, IT systems risk management, facilities and security systems implementation and

maintenance, disaster recovery planning and business continuity planning.

• Software Knowledge: Operating Systems: MSDOS, Windows 9x series, Windows 2000 series,

Windows XP and Vista, MacIntosh Systems 10. Applications: Meditech, HEAT, Microsoft Office

Career Experience:

Information Technology Principal, Albany, OR. 2003 – 2005

• Successfully implemented three new locations, Ellensburg, WA, Woodburn, OR, and Salem OR;

adding to the current information technology infrastructure. Both locations were outfitted with

Wireless communication, as well as, all other locations and the correct security measures.

• Provided on-going computer training for our enterprise, as well as maintain a stable environment

that supports these three critical areas: business operations, managerial decision-making, and a

strategic advantage. To this end I have successfully implemented, trained and maintain our new

Customer Resource Management (CRM) solution.

• Successfully managed all information technology vendor relationships, and service level

agreements.

• Designed and implemented a business continuity plan for the information technology department.

• Implemented maintenance and support procedures for all hardware within the enterprise including:

servers, workstations, routers, switches, T1 lines, printers, copiers, and PDA’s. I am also

responsible for all software deployment and accurate licensing.

• Daily responsibilities include Windows 2000 management, Citrix Metaframe management,

Packeteer Management, SonicWall Management, as well as client side configuration,

management, and repair.

• Successfully prepared a cost analysis and return on investment for a complete network redesign

comparing this to outsourcing the infrastructure to an Application Service Provider. I aided in the

completion of a successful outsourcing of all IT related activities to the aforementioned ASP in

November of 2005.

Project Coordinator Spokane WA. 2006 – 2007

• Managed technology initiatives with a local medical transport company (MedStar) based out of

Felts Field in Spokane.

• Coordinated the helpdesk rollout of the HEAT ticket tracking product by FrontRange for PH&S in

Anchorage Alaska and California within the PH&S organization.

• Project management for video conferencing solution within the INHS family and clientele.

• Various small projects including new hardware orders, software acquisition and licensing.

• Work with various approved vendors and contractors for internal initiatives, including

presentation facilities, technology to aid marketing initiatives.

• Developed complimentary working relationships with server teams, Datacom teams, telecom

teams, desktop support teams, and purchasing teams.

• Currently I am the owner of an information technology consulting firm, known as IntegraSol,

specializing in providing IT and Business leadership for small to medium businesses, local

government, and academic organizations. My firm caters to these groups and businesses that have

the desire to grow and know they need to do this through Information Technology. IntegraSol

provides Current Status Assessment, Business Continuity Planning, End User Training, Network

Design, Preventative Maintenance Plans, Internet and Network Security, and Voice over IP

solutions.

• Currently faculty at the University of Phoenix, Spokane, teaching courses in IS and T and General

Studies in both and on ground and online venue. Covering such topics as Business Systems
