PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

architects, engineers and planning staff through the entire project phase. Coordinated MEP services,
Interior Design, worked directly with the client teams and continually monitored progress. In the final
phase, worked with the city and health departments to process the hospital and demonstrate that the
project was IBC code compliant.
Project Specifications:
• Make Ready: Temporary Emergency Department relocation within existing facility. Site and utility
preparation for South Tower project
• Central Plant: R emodel and expansion of Central Plant (16,000 sq ft)
• South Tower /core & shell: 6-story structure with basement (270,000 sq ft) and 2 pad heli-stop at
roof
• South Tower /tenant improvements: Tenant improvements and equipment planning to include:
Basement Facilities, EVS, Staffing, RT, Tech Management

•
nd rd
2 – 3 Floor: ICU – 40 beds per floor
•
th th
4 - 6 Floor: Telemetry –40 beds per floor
•
Significant Accomplishments:
In order to expedite the project schedule to conform to clients needs, fast- tracked the project into four
•
segments. The four separate projects were conducted in a s taggered, but overlapping, sequence,
allowing the contracting team to begin work sooner while the A/E team completed their work and
delivered the permits.
To accommodate the compressed schedule, developed the architectural and structural documents in
•
Revit, a program the team had limited experience with. I worked with the A/E teams to expedite the
learning curve and successfully completed the architectural model with structural elements, reducing
the opportunity for errors.
Introduced the concept of distributing the work load among two offices in two different states to meet
•
the demands of the schedule. Displayed a collaborative leadership style to increase the camaraderie
and partnership between the two groups, resulting in a cooperative commitment to project success.
Designed a pre-piped delivery system for all gases, power and medical equipment that conformed to
•
all standard, factory items, while maintaining the quality and uniqueness of a custom designed
Headwall. Were able to conceal the piping and conduits without sacrificing standardization, providing
the aesthetic quality desired at a moderate cost.

available for installation within the existing structure.
• A second project was designed which would provide new bed floors for surgery patients before and
