due diligence; create detailed multi-scenario leveraged buyout and operating company models

• Work closely with firm partners, executive network members, financial and legal advisors, and other professionals in structuring and

executing investments

• Execute debt financings and negotiate the terms of credit agreements for senior and subordinated debt facilities

• Conduct accounting, industry, legal, environmental, tax, and customer due diligence by managing and working alongside teams of

accountants, attorneys, and external consultants

• Author comprehensive analyses of transaction opportunities for the Project Development and Investment Committees

• $68 million acquisition of Child Development Schools - Sixth largest for-profit preschool education and early care provider in North

America

• $50 million acquisition of Dixie Chemical Company - Manufacturer of high-purity specialty and industrial chemicals, complex

compounds, and chemical intermediates

ERNST & YOUNG CORPORATE FINANCE, Chicago, Illinois November 2002 – June 2004

Restructuring Advisory Services - Associate

• Analyzed debtors’ business plans, cash flow projections, and overall financial condition on behalf of companies’ creditors to identify

potential issues as well as advise on proposed strategies

• Assisted a $100 million egg producer in creating a forecast and budget to ensure creditors received accurate and detailed financial

information

• Constructed covenant analysis model and provided analysis and assessment of a $1 billion satellite communications company’s 2003

business plan for purposes of amending the company’s credit agreement
