VP Strategic Alliances/Regional Acct Executive
Contracted to build an IT division from scratch for this small staffing company, but owner unexpectedly changed his mind
and closed 75% of the offices and staff after only 2 months as Optimus’ L.I. and Admin/Clerical divisions were apparently
losing too much business to continue funding the start-up. However, did establish 14 vendor relationships and had 39
consultants in various stages of the interview process at time of dissolution.
CDI Corporation: Bellevue, WA (office closed; nationwide layoffs) Jan 08 – Nov 08
Sr. Sales Executive
Created business alliances with Fortune 100 companies, dealing with ‘C’ level executives. Created new partnerships
with combined annual company revenues of $8.5B, including the largest Kidney Dialysis organization in the US. IT Staff

Biotech/Pharmaceutical, Marketing & Engineering throughout the US. Developed vendor-neutral B2B relationships with
agencies and end-clients, educating ‘C’ level executives and Account Managers of the significant benefits to their
companies. Established 100+ business partnerships during tenure, created website content for the company, and
built revenues from $0 to $2.75M/yr by the end of the 2nd year.
Business model originally implemented for contract positions only, and evolved into Contract-to-Hire and Perm positions
as well. Managed NY, Boston, SF and LA virtual offices overseeing the marketing efforts of recruiters. Developed and
managed metrics of recruiters to ensure consistent levels of contact for maximum penetration of accounts. Contact with
consultants/agencies/companies throughout the US and world was a 24/7 occurrence due to time zone differences, thus

The Job Center – Kamloops, BC: (relocated family to US) 1999 – 2004
Director of Operations
Marketed clients to employers worldwide for Contract & Direct-Hire placements by effectively applying Performance
Metrics. Direct-Hire Placements increased more than 350% by creating and implementing strategic plans designed for
success. Effectively handled high volumes of correspondence via e-mail, phone & fax. Facilitated workshops, counseled

NW Marketing – Vancouver, BC: 1990 – 1992

Hired, trained, & managed a staff of 75 in 7 locations, including Managers at each store. Was responsible for
