Troubleshooting was often required to the component level. DVOM, Oscilloscope,
Megger, can of Freon: this was some of the equipment used to troubleshoot. I worked
on Analog, Digital, Low Voltage, High Voltage, Audio Frequency, Low Frequency,
High Frequency, RF, Plasma, Motors, Vacuum Tube, Solid State such as Transistor
and FET, Microprocessor control, PLC and Manual control. Troubleshot and repaired
all mechanical parts such as gears, drive shafts, belts, pulleys, chains, pneumatics,
hydraulic, etc. Troubleshot the gas systems used and replaced the faulty part; leak
checked and qualified the gas system before turning it back to production. The
gasses were N2, 02, H2, AsH3, HCL, PH3, B2H6, NH3, SiH4 and others. Nupro and
Solenoid valves, Filters, MFS and AFC were some of the parts repaired or replaced.
Performed preventive maintenance on all equipment. Taught my peers on all
maintenance needed on the equipment used to manufacture Semiconductor Devices.
Epitaxial Reactors, RF Generators, Ion Implanters, Evaporators, Diffusion Furnaces,
Plasma Systems and Megasonic Systems were some of the pieces of equipment
repaired and maintained. Rebuilt and modified equipment as needed, a lot of this
work was on RF Generators, Epitaxial Reactors and Diffusion Furnaces. Stuffed new
circuit boards and soldered the components. I am a quick learner and have
demonstrated that I can master a piece of equipment and then taught it to my peers
